The ARIA Albums Chart ranks the best-performing albums and extended plays (EPs) in Australia. Its data, published by the Australian Recording Industry Association, is based collectively on the weekly physical and digital sales and streams of albums and EPs. [1] In 2023, 32 albums have so far claimed the top spot. The first number one of the year, Midnights by Taylor Swift, carried over from the end of 2022. Ten artists, SZA, Morgan Wallen, Melanie Martinez, Cub Sport, Peach PRC, Lewis Capaldi, Niall Horan, Kerser, G Flip and Polaris, achieved their first number-one album. Swift achieved three number-one albums within the year, while Ed Sheeran achieved two.

She released her debut live album The Journey in February 2007, which features songs she performed as part of the top twelve on Australian Idol. The album debuted at number four on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified gold by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), denoting shipments of 35,000 copies. Mauboy briefly became a member of the Australian pop girl group Young Divas later that year, before resuming her solo career early in 2008.

In the United Kingdom, she holds the record for being the first female artist to score a number one on the Official Albums Chart in five consecutive decades, from the 1980s to the 2020s.

Ocean Alley is an Australian alternative psychedelic rock band from the Northern Beaches. The band is made up of Baden Donegal, Angus Goodwin, Lach Galbraith, Mitch Galbraith (guitar), Nic Blom (bass) and Tom O'Brien (drums). Their style of music has been described as "cruisey psych, rock and reggae fusion".
