Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf State school in Cardiff, Wales

Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Glantaf is a Welsh-medium coeducational secondary school in Llandaff North, a district in the north of Cardiff, Wales; it is the largest of its kind in the country. Of the three Welsh-medium secondary schools serving Cardiff, it was the first to be established; the others are Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Plasmawr and Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Edern. Although all students speak Welsh and normally have received Welsh-language primary education, 68% come from homes where Welsh is not the first language.

Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni is a Welsh-medium school situated in the village of Fleur-de-Lys in the Rhymney Valley. Cwm Rhymni was founded in 1981 with just over 150 pupils and has since grown to 1,684 pupils with 1,164 at the Gellihaf campus and 520 at Y Gwyndy.

Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Llangynwyd is the borough of Bridgend's only Welsh medium secondary school. The school opened its doors on the 3 September 2008 on the site of the former Maesteg Comprehensive Upper School in Llangynwyd.

Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg is a Welsh medium comprehensive school in the town of Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, on the coast of south Wales. It is located adjacent to Barry Hospital.

Dihewyd

Dihewyd is a parish in the county of Ceredigion, West Wales with a population of about 200 people. It is 5 miles (8 km) from Aberaeron and 8 miles (13 km) from Lampeter. This parish is situated near the Vale of Aëron and not far from the river Mydur. There is also a primary school in the village called Ysgol Gynradd Dihewyd which currently has about 30 pupils attending. Dihewyd no longer has a local shop, pub or post office - the nearest being three miles away at Ystrad Aeron and it only has one bus service to the nearby harbour town of Aberaeron as well as a school bus taking pupils to Ysgol Gyfun Aberaeron. It does have a public telephone box and, since October 2015, is connected to fibre broadband. It also has a chapel, church and village hall.

Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Bro Edern is an 11–18 mixed, Welsh-medium, community secondary school and sixth form in Penylan, Cardiff, Wales. The name 'Bro Edern' refers to Saint Edern who is commemorated in the name Llanedeyrn. Of the three Welsh-medium secondary schools serving Cardiff, it is the newest.
