Borth is a village and seaside resort in Ceredigion, Mid Wales; it is located 7 miles (11 km) north of Aberystwyth, on the Ceredigion Coast Path. The community includes the settlement of Ynyslas and the population was 1,399 in 2011. From being largely Welsh-speaking, the village has become anglicised; over 54 per cent of its residents were born in England. According to both the 1991 and 2001 censuses, 43 per cent of the residents of Borth were primarily Welsh-speakers.
Llanrwst is a market town and community on the A470 road and the River Conwy, in Conwy County Borough, Wales, and the historic county of Denbighshire. It developed around the wool trade and became known also for the making of harps and clocks. Today, less than one mile from the edge of Snowdonia, its main pursuit is tourism. Notable buildings include almshouses, two 17th-century chapels, and the Parish Church of St Grwst, which holds the stone coffin of Llywelyn the Great. The 2011 census gave it a population of 3,323.
Pontrhydfendigaid is a village in Ceredigion, Wales. It lies on the western flank of the Cambrian Mountains, between Devil's Bridge and Tregaron. Llanwddyn is a village and community in Montgomeryshire, Powys, Wales. The community is centred on the Lake Vyrnwy reservoir. The original Llanwddyn village, about 2 miles (3.2 km) northwest, was submerged when the reservoir was created in the 1880s.

It stretches from the Leri estuary in the west to Moel y Llyn in the east, and from Lodge Park in the north to Talybont on the A487 to the south; the total area is 9 square miles (23 km2). The population in 2001 was 641, falling to 587 at the 2011 Census. The parish includes Llangynfelyn, Tre-Taliesin, Tre'r Ddôl and Craig y Penrhyn. The parish is named after the parish church of St Cynfelyn.
Llanbadarn Fawr is a community in Powys, within the historic boundaries of Radnorshire, mid Wales. Consisting of a tract of undulating land directly north east of Llandrindod Wells, the community consists of the settlements of Crossgates and Fron and in 2001 had a population of 654, increasing to 701 at the 2011 Census. The community name comes from the local church.
Llansantffraid, or Llansantffraed, is a small rural village and community and practically merged with the village of Llanon just west of the main A487 coastal road between Aberaeron and Aberystwyth, about 11 mi (18 km) from Aberystwyth. The population in 2001 was 1,241, declining to 1,212 at the 2011 census.
