Cardiff is the capital and largest city of Wales. Cardiff had a population of 372,089 in 2022 and forms a principal area officially known as the City and County of Cardiff. The city is the eleventh largest in the United Kingdom. Located in the southeast of Wales and in the Cardiff Capital Region, Cardiff is the county town of the historic county of Glamorgan and in 1974–1996 of South Glamorgan. It belongs to the Eurocities network of the largest European cities. A small town until the early 19th century, its prominence as a port for coal when mining began in the region helped its expansion. In 1905, it was ranked as a city and in 1955 proclaimed capital of Wales. Cardiff Built-up Area covers a larger area outside the county boundary, including the towns of Dinas Powys and Penarth.

For 55 years Daniel Rowland was one of the leading evangelists in Wales.
Llangeitho is a village and community on the upper River Aeron in Ceredigion, Wales, about four miles west of Tregaron and 11 kilometres (7 mi) north of Lampeter. Its population of 874 in 2001 fell to 819 at the 2011 census.

Moreton Hall is a private boarding and day school for girls aged 6 months to 18 and boys aged 6 months to 13, situated in North Shropshire four miles from the market town of Oswestry. Founded in 1913, Moreton Hall celebrated its centenary in 2012/13. Much of the early history of the school is unrecorded, but Michael Charlesworth, chairman of the Governors for twelve years, wrote the "Story of Moreton Hall" to mark the ninetieth anniversary.

He was a friend of John Jones, Llwynrhys who was the leading Independent in Central Cardiganshire. Edwards was a competent scholar and was ordained as assistant minister to David Jones at Caeronnen, Cellan, Crug y Maen, Llwyn Rhys and Cilgwyn.
