The Michelin Guides are a series of guide books that have been published by the French tyre company Michelin since 1900. The Guide awards up to three Michelin stars for excellence to a select few restaurants in certain geographic areas. Michelin also publishes the Green Guides, a series of general guides to cities, regions, and countries.
Alinea is a restaurant in Chicago, Illinois, United States. In 2010, Alinea was awarded three stars by the Michelin Guide. Since the closing on December 20, 2017 of Grace, Alinea remains one of only two Chicago restaurants, with the other one being Smyth, added in 2023, with three Michelin stars. Alinea charges $175–225 for its second-floor salon menu, and $285–345 for its first floor gallery menu.
Aquavit is a Scandinavian restaurant located at 65 East 55th Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. In November 2016, an outpost was launched in London by Philip Hamilton.
Thornton's was a restaurant that was housed, in the period 2002–2016, in the Fitzwilliam Hotel, St. Stephen's Green, County Dublin, Ireland. It was previously located on Portobello Road since 1989. It became a fine dining restaurant, that held a one-star Michelin rating in the periods 1996-2000 and 2006–2015. In the period 2001-2005 it held a two-star rating. The restaurant closed on 29 October 2016. The space is now occupied by Glovers Alley.
Le Champignon Sauvage is a restaurant located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. As of 2008, the restaurant holds two stars in the Michelin Guide. In 1987 the restaurant was opened by husband and wife, David and Helen Everitt-Mattias, initially for a period of three years, but the couple stayed with the restaurant due to high interest rates. To keep costs down, David, the head chef, incorporated cheaper cuts of meat and foraged ingredients on the menu. As of 1 October 2018, the restaurant has been downgraded to 1 Michelin star for the 2019 guide. It is currently the only Michelin starred restaurant in Gloucestershire.

House is one of the restaurants at the Cliff House Hotel in Ardmore, County Waterford, Ireland. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded a Michelin star for each year in the period 2010 to present. Bridgestone Guides also lists the hotel as one of the 100 Best Places To Eat. Journalist Pol O Conghaile listed the hotel and restaurant on his The travel hot list 2010 in the Irish Independent.

It previously held one star between 2007 and 2021. The Michelin Guide awarded the restaurant the "Red M", indicating 'good food at a reasonable price', in the period 1996–2001.
