Bahia is a small genus of perennial flowering plants in the sunflower family. The common name is also bahia. It is named in honor of the Spanish botanist Juan Francisco Bahí (1775–1841).
The Pánuco River, also known as the Río de Canoas, is a river in Mexico fed by several tributaries including the Moctezuma River and emptying into the Gulf of Mexico. Federal Highway 85 connects Mexico City with the Mexico–United States border at Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. La Huasteca is a geographical and cultural region located partially along the Gulf of Mexico, and including parts of the states of Tamaulipas, Veracruz, Puebla, Hidalgo, San Luis Potosí, Querétaro and Guanajuato.
