Tuen Mun District is one of the 18 administrative districts of Hong Kong. It is the westernmost continental district of Hong Kong. It had a population of 487,546 in 2011. Part of the district is the Tuen Mun New Town, which contains one of the largest residential areas in the New Territories.
Sha Tin District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. As one of the 9 districts located in the New Territories, it covers the areas of Sha Tin, Tai Wai, Ma On Shan, Fo Tan, Siu Lek Yuen, Kwun Yam Shan and Ma Liu Shui. The Light Rail, also known as the Light Rail Transit (LRT), officially the North-West Railway, is a light rail system in Hong Kong, serving the northwestern New Territories, within Tuen Mun District and Yuen Long District. The system operates over 1,435 mmstandard gauge track, using 750 V DC overhead power supply. It was once one of four systems comprising the KCR network in Hong Kong, before the MTR–KCR merger in 2007. It has a daily ridership of about 483,000 people. The line is colour warm yellow on the map, formerly deep orange before the MTR–KCR merger.
Siu Hong is an MTR station located beside Siu Hong Court, Tuen Mun, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is built on the Tuen Mun Nullah immediately east of Siu Hong Court. The station is on the Tuen Ma line between Tin Shui Wai and Tuen Mun stations. Elevated public transport interchanges are provided at both the south and north ends of the station. Two access ramps link the public transport interchanges to Castle Peak Road and Tsing Lun Road for access to feeder services such as buses, minibuses, and taxis.
Tin Shui Wai is an MTR station on the Tuen Ma line, located in Ping Shan near Tin Shui Wai New Town, Yuen Long District. It is the only heavy rail station serving Tin Shui Wai, which has a population of around 300,000.
Tuen Mun or Castle Peak is an area near the mouth of Tuen Mun River and Castle Peak Bay in the New Territories, Hong Kong. It was one of the earliest settlements in what is now Hong Kong and can be dated to the Neolithic period. In the more recent past, it was home to many Tanka fishermen who gathered at Castle Peak Bay. Tuen Mun is now a modern, mainly residential area in the north-west New Territories. As of 2011, 487,546 live in Tuen Mun and over 95% of them are Chinese.

On Ting is an MTR Light Rail stop located at ground level at Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road between On Ting Estate and Yau Oi Estate, in Tuen Mun District. It began service on 18 September 1988 and belongs to Zone 2.
Siu Lun is an MTR Light Rail stop located at ground level at Tuen Mun Heung Sze Wui Road between Siu Lun Court and Tsui Ning Garden in Tuen Mun District. It began service on 17 November 1991 and belongs to Zone 1. It serves Siu Lun Court and Tsui Ning Garden.
Sam Shing is an MTR Light Rail terminus located on the ground near Hoi Wing Road, inside Hanford Garden and next to Sam Shing Estate in Tuen Mun District, Hong Kong. It began service on 2 February 1992 and belongs to Zone 1. It serves Sam Shing Estate and Hanford Garden.
