The discography of the English singer-songwriter Maisie Peters consists of two studio albums, one soundtrack album, two extended plays (EPs) and 31 singles (including four as a featured artist). Peters independently released her first single, "Place We Were Made", in August 2017 and, four months later, released her second single, "Birthday". The songs gained attention in indie-pop circles and she then signed with Atlantic Records UK. [1] Under Atlantic, she released various singles, notably "Worst of You", as well as her two EPs, Dressed Too Nice for a Jacket and It's Your Bed Babe, It's Your Funeral. [2]
In 2020, Peters contributed the song "Smile" to the soundtrack album Birds of Prey: The Album . [3] She released work for another soundtrack in 2021, this time for the Apple TV+ original series Trying . She wrote and performed all songs. [4] On 15 June 2021, Peters left Atlantic and signed with Ed Sheeran's Gingerbread Man Records. [5] Under them, she released her first album, You Signed Up for This , on 27 August 2021. [6] The album entered the UK Albums Chart at number 2 and was the top selling album in UK independent record stores for that week. [7] With the first two singles of the record, "John Hughes Movie" and "Psycho", Peters had her first entries on the UK Singles Chart. Formed in 2002, OneRepublic first found commercial recognition when their song "Apologize" was released onto Myspace in 2006 and they subsequently became the biggest act on that site. It was remixed by American record producer Timbaland, appearing on his album Shock Value. Released as a single in 2007, the song topped the charts in multiple countries, including Australia and Canada, while also reaching the top three in the United States and the United Kingdom.
