The Junior Solheim Cup is a version of the Solheim Cup for girls aged 12 to 18. It was inaugurated in 2002. It is currently officially called the PING Junior Solheim Cup. The Junior Solheim Cup follows a similar format to The Solheim Cup and features the top 12 U.S. amateur girls—defined as girls participating in American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) events—versus their European counterparts. College/university golfers are ineligible to participate in the event, even if they meet the age cutoff. The event is held over two days, with six fourball and six foursomes matches on the first day, and twelve singles matches on the second day.

Miss World USA 1974 was the 13th edition of the Miss World USA pageant and it was held in Binghamton, New York and was won by Terry Ann Browning of Florida. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Lexie H. Brockway of Washington. Browning went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1974 Pageant in London later that year. She finished as 4th Runner-Up at Miss World.

Miss World USA 1971 was the 10th edition of the Miss World USA pageant, held in the Hampton Roads Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia, and was won by Karen Brucene Smith of Texas. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder Sandra Wolsfeld of Illinois. Smith went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1971 Pageant in London later that year. She finished as fifth runner-up at Miss World. She later won Miss American Beauty 1974 and competed in and later won Miss International 1974.

Miss Europe 1982 was the 42nd edition of the Miss Europe pageant and the 31st edition under the Mondial Events Organization. It was held in Istanbul, Turkey on June 11, 1982. Nazlı Deniz Kuruoğlu of Turkey, was crowned Miss Europe 1982 by outgoing titleholder Anne Mette Larsen of Denmark.

Binibining Pilipinas 1996 was the 33rd edition of Binibining Pilipinas. It took place at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on March 24, 1996.
