The National Route 405 (N405) forms part of the Philippine highway network. It runs through western Cavite. [1] It connects the municipality of Naic to Caylabne Bay. [2]

Route description

The highway, though consisting of component roads of different names, is officially named by DPWH as Juanito Remulla Sr. Road, [2] which is the official name of one of its component roads, Governor's Drive. [3]

N405 runs from the municipality of Naic to Ternate, Cavite as Governor's Drive. It starts at the intersection with N402, specifically the Naic–Indang Road and Capt. C. Nazareno Street in Barangay San Roque, Naic. It then passes through the municipalities of Maragondon and Ternate. Finally, it meets its intersection with Caylabne Road and Ternate–Nasugbu Road at the Mounts Palay-Palay–Mataas-na-Gulod Protected Landscape in Ternate.

Caylabne Road

N405 then turns north as Caylabne Road, which connects Ternate to Caylabne Bay. The highway ends at Point Mai, where a gate to Caylabne Bay Resort is found, as the road continues into the resort as an unnumbered street.

Juanito R. Remulla Sr. Road, formerly and still referred to as Governor's Drive, is a two-to-nine lane, 58.3-kilometer (36.2 mi) network of primary, secondary and tertiary highways and bridges traversing through the central cities and municipalities of the province of Cavite, Philippines. It is the widest of the three major highways located in the province, the others are Aguinaldo Highway and Antero Soriano Highway.

Juanito Victor "Jonvic" Catibayan Remulla Jr. is a Filipino politician serving as the governor of Cavite since 2019, previously holding the position from 2010 to 2016. 2013 Cavite local elections

Local elections were held in the Province of Cavite on May 13, 2013 within the Philippine general election. Voters selected candidates for all local positions: a mayor, vice mayor, councilors, members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, the vice-governor, governor and representatives for the seven districts of Cavite.

Mounts Palay-Palay–Mataas-na-Gulod Protected Landscape

The Mounts Palay-Palay–Mataas-na-Gulod Protected Landscape is a 3,973.13-hectare (9,817.8-acre) protected area encompassing the Palay-Palay Mountain Range in southwestern Luzon island near Manila in the Philippines. It was established on 26 October 1976 as a national park and game refuge and bird sanctuary covering an initial area of 4,000 hectares. In 2007, the national park was designated as a protected landscape area under the National Integrated Protected Areas System through Proclamation No. 1315 signed by President Gloria Arroyo. The park is the last remaining lowland rainforest in the province of Cavite and is well known for Mount Pico de Loro, a popular destination for mountaineers and hikers from Metro Manila.

Ternate–Nasugbu Road

The Ternate–Nasugbu Road, also known as Ternate–Nasugbu Highway or Nasugbu–Ternate Highway, is a two-to-four lane, secondary road in the provinces of Cavite and Batangas, Philippines. It connects the municipality of Ternate in Cavite to the municipality of Nasugbu in Batangas.

The National Route 407 (N407) forms part of the Philippine highway network. It runs from Batangas to Cavite.
