Neal is a census-designated place (CDP) in eastern Greenwood County, Kansas, United States. ^[1] As of the 2020 census, the population was 37. ^[2] It is located approximately 10 miles east of the city of Eureka along U.S. Route 54 highway. ^[3]

History

The first post office in Neal was established in 1882. ^[4] Although Neal is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 66863. ^[5]

Neal was named for a minor official of the Missouri Pacific Railroad. ^[6]

The 2020 United States census counted 37 people, 20 households, and 12 families in Neal. ^{[7] [8]} The population density was 184.1 per square mile (71.1/km²).
