Nepean Woods station is located in the Ottawa, Ontario, Canada suburb of Barrhaven, and is on the Southwest Transitway which is served by OC Transpo buses. [2] Located near the intersection of Woodroffe Avenue and Strandherd Drive in southern Nepean, it was the westerly terminus of most trips of rapid-transit route 74, formerly numbered route 94. It is also the site of a park and ride lot for residents of Barrhaven, which opened on 24 February 2014. [3]

In July 19, 2014, selected trips on route 74 (then 94) were extended to/from Riverview Station via the then-newly opened Vimy Memorial Bridge. Route 99 has selected trips extended via the bridge and Nepean Woods Station to/from Barrhaven Centre Station. [4] On June 20, 2021, Route 74 changed its routing to again terminate at Nepean Woods. [5] In the fall of 2023, Route 74 changed its routing, extending it to Riverview Station once again. [6]

Many Algonquin College students and Centrepointe residents use this station to get to various points in the city, and to and from the college. Several residential and business areas such as Centrepointe and College Square are also served by this station.

Lincoln Fields is a station on Ottawa's transitway located at Carling Avenue and the Kichi Zibi Mikan. It is adjacent to the now-shuttered Lincoln Fields Shopping Centre. It is the main western hub of the transitway system and has a ticket sales and information office as well as a small convenience store. The transitway routes branch off in two directions: westward to Kanata and Stittsville, and southward to Barrhaven. The western branch of the transitway from this point is currently incomplete, forcing westbound routes to use existing streets such as Carling Avenue and the Queensway.

The bridge was the 2015 winner of the Gustav Lindenthal Medal. It is named after the Battle of Vimy Ridge, as suggested by two Royal Canadian Legions in Ottawa.

Limebank is an under construction terminal station on the Trillium Line in Ottawa, Ontario. When constructed, it will be the southern terminus of the Stage 2 O-Train expansion and is scheduled for completion in 2024. The station will be elevated with two side platforms and is located southwest of the intersection of Limebank and Earl Armstrong roads. OC Transpo Rapid bus routes 74 and 99 will connect to this station once revenue service begins in 2024.
