Fredericton is the capital city of the Canadian province of New Brunswick. The city is situated in the west-central portion of the province along the Saint John River, also known by its Indigenous name of Wolastoq, which flows west to east as it bisects the city. The river is the dominant natural feature of the area. One of the main urban centres in New Brunswick, the city had a population of 63,116 and a metropolitan population of 108,610 in the 2021 Canadian census. It is the third-largest city in the province after Moncton and Saint John.

Riverview High School, or simply known as RHS, is a public high school in Riverview, New Brunswick, Canada. It is part of the province's Anglophone East School District, offering education to students from grade nine to twelve. It is the only high school in Riverview, and one of four Anglophone high schools in Greater Moncton.
École L'Odyssée is a public francophone high school in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. It is part of the province's Francophone Sud School District, offering education to students from grade nine to twelve. The school opened on September 30, 2005 as part of a $24.2 million project, alongside the adjoining middle school, École Le Mascaret. École L'Odyssée was conceived as a way to alleviate the overcrowding problem at École Mathieu-Martin in nearby Dieppe, a problem the district has had in the past. The Odyssée-Mascaret project, as well as the future Carrefour de l'Acadie middle school, replaced the former École Beauséjour and École Vanier complexes. This move allowed the Moncton Hospital to expand, while the Vanier establishment made way for medical offices. On September 9, 2009, the school was given permission to begin an $884,000 expansion for its far side, allowing for a larger space to be reserved for its infirmary and orientation center.
The Green Party of New Brunswick, commonly known as the Greens, is a green provincial political party in New Brunswick, Canada. Formed in 2008, the party has been under the leadership of David Coon since 2012. The party currently holds two seats in the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, making it the only minor party in the province currently represented in the legislative assembly.

Oromocto High School (OHS) is a high school located in Oromocto, New Brunswick, Canada. It is the third largest school in the Anglophone West School District (ASD-W) which contains 70 institutions and around 23 000 students total. OHS is the source of education for about 1032 of those students, with between 1000 and 1100 annually. Oromocto High School is also the location for the Oromocto Education Centre which looks over different schools within ASD-W within Oromocto and the surrounding area. The principal is Kevin Inch, vice-principals are Maxine McConnell, Molly Nugent, and a third to be determined for the 2022-23 school year.
North & South Esk Regional High School, commonly abbreviated to N.S.E.R., is one of five public, English language high schools in the Miramichi Area. It also functions as a middle school. I is located in Sunny Corner, New Brunswick. It serves principally residents from Sunny Corner, Red Bank, Sevogle, Sillikers, and Cassilis. The school serves grades 7 to 12. Graduating class sizes varied from 5 students in the first year (1952) to 70+ students in the 1970s. It presently has around 190 pupils.
Serge Langis is a Canadian teacher and professional basketball coach, last serving as the head coach of the KW Titans in the National Basketball League of Canada. He previously served as assistant coach (2012–14) and head coach (2015–16) for the Moncton Miracles of the NBL Canada. He was released by the Moncton Miracles in February, 2016. He is also a high school social studies teacher at J.M.A. Armstrong High School in Salisbury, New Brunswick. Langis is the co-owner of Sweat Academy Player Development, an offseason basketball development program in Atlantic Canada, and earned a degree in psychology at St. Thomas University and an education degree while attending the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
Kevin Arseneau is a Canadian politician, who was first elected to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick in the 2018 election and served in the New Brunswick Legislative Assembly until 2024. He represents the electoral district of Kent North as a member of the Green Party, of which he is one of the Deputy Leaders. He is the first Acadian to be elected as a third-party MLA in New Brunswick as well as the first Francophone in North America to be elected under the Green Party banner.
Acadia is a North American cultural region in the Maritime provinces of Canada where approximately 300,000 French-speaking Acadians live. The region lacks clear or formal borders; it is usually considered to be the north and east of New Brunswick as well as a few isolated localities in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. Some also include a few localities in Quebec and/or Maine.
The New Brunswick Drama Festival, also known as the New Brunswick Provincial Drama Festival and Conference, the NBTA Drama Festival, or simply referred to as NB DramaFest, is an annual event held at the St. Thomas University campus in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Taking place every May, the event serves as a scholastic drama festival and competition for middle and high school students in New Brunswick.
