New Democratic Party Shadow Cabinet of the 44th Parliament of Canada

This is a list of members of the New Democratic Party Shadow Cabinet of the 44th Canadian Parliament. Positions in the shadow cabinet were announced on October 29, 2021, following the federal election on September 20 the same year. [1] Appointed by party leader Jagmeet Singh, the shadow cabinet contains members of the NDP caucus in the Canadian House of Commons. [2]

The 31st Alberta Legislative Assembly was constituted after the general election on May 29, 2023. The United Conservative Party (UCP), led by incumbent Premier Danielle Smith, won a majority of seats and formed the government. The New Democrats, led by former Premier Rachel Notley, won the second most seats and formed the official opposition.The first session began on October 30.
