Agualeguas is both a city and a municipality located in the northeastern part of the state of Nuevo León, Mexico,. The name "Agualeguas" honors the first inhabitants of the region, the Gualegua tribe. It was recognized as a village on January 7, 1821, by the colonial government because that was the date that Bro. Diego Velázquez declared it the village of "St. Nicholas of Gualeguas." This perpetuates the "pristine myth" of the Americas that the land was a clean slate with no peoples living on it. It creates the notion that the Gualegua did not have complex and organized societies with connections to the land. This is incorrect with the primary evidence that Bro. Velázquez used the name Gualeguas when referring to the village he claimed to create.
Amacuzac is a city in the Mexican state of Morelos. The name means In the River of Yellow Amates. Amacuzac stands at 18°36′N99°23′W, at a mean height of 900 meters above sea level. The city serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding municipality of the same name. The municipality reported 17,772 inhabitants in the year 2015 census and covers a total surface area of 125 km².

The banderas monumentales are a collection of tall flagpoles containing large flags of Mexico located throughout Mexico. They are part of a program started in 1999 under President Ernesto Zedillo that is currently administered by the Secretariat of National Defense. The main feature of these monuments is a giant Mexican flag flying off a 50-meter-high (160-ft) flagpole. The size of the flag was 14.3 by 25 metres and it was flown on a pole that measured 50 metres (160 ft) high. In the time after the decree was issued, many more banderas monumentales have been installed throughout the country in various sizes. Many of the locations were chosen due to significant events in Mexican history that occurred there.
Totontepec Villa de Morelos is a small village and municipality, in the Sierra Mixe district of the Mexican state of Oaxaca. It is located some 1840 metres above sea level and some 326 km from the state capital, Oaxaca de Juárez. In spite of the Mixe influence, the toponym is Nahuatl in origin, meaning "hot hill".

Ciudad Nicolás Romero is the largest city and municipal seat of the municipality of Nicolás Romero in State of Mexico, Mexico. It is located 58 km from the city of Toluca, the state capital and lies in the north-central part of the state, just northwest of the Federal District. The seat/municipality's current name is to honor Nicolás Romero, who fought for Benito Juárez during the Reform War and the French intervention in Mexico. He was executed there by the French. The town adopted this name in 1898. The area was settled by the Otomi and named Azcapotzaltongo by the Aztecs after conquering it. During colonial times, it was known as San Pedro Azcapotzaltongo. It was then called Monte Bajo from 1821 to 1898, when the current name was adopted. Both the municipality and city are commonly referred to as Nicolás Romero.
Zazacatla is a pre-Columbian archaeological site of Mesoamerica's central Mexican plateau region, in Xochitepec, dating to the mid-Formative period of Mesoamerican chronology. The site was first excavated in 2006 underneath a modern commercial and housing development site, some 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Cuernavaca, capital of the Mexican state of Morelos, and 40 km (25 mi) south of Mexico City. Initial investigations by archaeologists from Mexico's National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) reported finding evidence of Olmec cultural influences at the site, the first such known for the western Morelos region.

Acapantzingo is a barrio in the southeastern part of the City of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, 2 km from the city center. The Nahuatl name means on the slope of the reeds. It is bound by the Río Chalchihuapan on the west, Colonia Atlacumulco, Jiutepec to the east and south, Colonia Palmira to the south, and Calle Cuauhatemoc to the north.
