Kollam Indoor Stadium or Olympian Suresh Babu Multipurpose Indoor Stadium [1] is a stadium in making around the Cantonment area of Kollam. [2] The construction process is supposed to be completed by December, 2023. The indoor stadium will become a reality at a cost of Rs 39 crore on 3.6 acres of land allocated by the government at Peerangi Maidan in the center of Kollam city. [3] It will feature a gallery where two thousand people can watch the game, a men's hostel for 100 sportsmen who are training, and a swimming pool are provided. Training for sportspersons in 21 sports to conduct national and international competitions will be available here. [4] [5]
