The Pakistan Naval Station Darmaan Jah or PNS Darmaan Jah Hospital (meaning: place of Cure and Healing in Balochi) is a naval medical treatment facility and hospital located in Ormara, Balochistan Province. [1]

Contents

It is the first ever hospital facility established at Ormara, inaugurated by Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Noman Bashir on September 12, 2011. [2] The PNS Darmaan Jah is a 100-bed hospital. [3]

PNS <i>Zulfiquar</i> (F251)

PNS Zulfiquar (FFG-251) is the lead ship of the F-22P Zulfiquar-class guided missile frigates since 2009. She was designed and constructed by Chinese firm, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding in Shanghai, for the Pakistan Navy. The vessel's design is primarily influenced from the Type 053H3 frigate.

PNS Hameed is a very low frequency (VLF) radio transmitter facility of the Pakistan Navy, located near at the coastal areas of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The primary mission of this naval base is to communicate orders with the submerged submarines in the Arabian sea at very low frequency. It is the first of its kind facility with very low frequency transmission capabilities, which will enable the Pakistan Navy to communicate with its submerged submarines.

PNS <i>Moawin</i> (A39)

PNS Moawin (A39), is a fleet replenishment tanker currently in service with the Pakistan Navy. Designed by the Turkish firm, STM, she was built and constructed by the Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works in Karachi, Pakistan. Moawin is noted for its displacement, being the largest warship ever built in Pakistan.

PNS <i>Nasr</i>

PNS Nasr (A47) is a Type 905 replenishment oiler of the Pakistan Navy. The oiler was constructed in the People's Republic of China by the Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Company and entered service in 1987.

PNS <i>Shamsheer</i> (F252)

PNS Shamsheer (FFG-252) is the second F-22P Zulfiquar-class guided missile frigate currently in active service with the Pakistan Navy since her commissioning in 2009.
