Prayagraj Rambagh railway station [1] is situated in the Rambagh area of Prayagraj in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It also a Terminal station of Prayagraj. Due to huge rush at Prayagraj Junction the railway will develop as a high facilitated terminal.

History

The Prayagraj-Mau-Gorakhpur main line was constructed as a 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+38 in)-wide metre-gauge line by the Bengal and North Western Railway between 1899 and 1913. It was converted to 1,676 mm (5 ft 6 in)-wide 5 ft 6 in (1,676 mm) broad gauge in 1993–94.

Subedarganj railway station is an important railway station in Prayagraj district, Uttar Pradesh. Its code is SFG. It serves Prayagraj city. Railways has sanctioned a budget of 26 crore as part of its plan to develop the Subedarganj station, situated close to the North Central Railway headquarters in Prayagraj, as a full-fledged terminal, Minister of State, Manoj Sinha said. A new FOB will be completed by November. Prayagraj's neighbouring Subedarganj is being developed as terminal station with a provision of a new platform, new FOB, and extension of the existing platform.

Tamkuhi Road railway station is a second important railway station of Kushinagar district after Padrauna of Uttar Pradesh. Its code is TOI. It serves Tamkuhi Road town. The station consists of two platforms. The platforms are not well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including water and sanitation.
