Sahibabad Junction railway station is a railway station in Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh, India. Its code is SBB. It serves Sahibabad city. The station has five platforms. [1]

Sahibabad is a junction station because the railway line on one side splits in two: one line connects to New Delhi railway station via Anand Vihar railway station and the other line to Delhi junction via Delhi Shahdara. The other side line connects with Ghaziabad Junction railway station.

Delhi Junctionrailway station is the oldest railway station in Old Delhi, Delhi, India. It is one of the busiest railway stations in India in terms of frequency. Around 250 trains start, end, or pass through the station daily. It was established near Chandni Chowk in 1864 when trains from Howrah, Calcutta started operating up to Delhi. Its present building was constructed by the British Indian government in the style of the nearby Red Fort and opened in 1903. The 15657 / 15658 Brahmaputra Mail is a daily train that connects Old Delhi with Kamakhya in Assam. Introduced in 1972 after the construction of the rail section of the Farakka Barrage, the train originally ran as the Tinsukia Mail between Delhi Junction railway station and New Bongaigaon railway stations, with onward metre-gauge connection by a train of the same name numbered as 7Up and 8Dn to Guwahati and Tinsukia in the Indian state of Assam. The train was renamed the Brahmaputra Mail after the successful gauge conversion of the New Bongaigaon–Dibrugarh metre-gauge lines to broad gauge. W.E.F. 20/12/2020 this train is running between Kamakhya Junction (KYQ) & Old Delhi (DLI) & is permanently cancelled between Kamakhya Junction & Dibrugarh.

The Sahibganj loop is a railway line connecting Khana Junction and Kiul Junction. Originally a part of the Howrah–Delhi main line, it was opened to traffic in 1866. With the construction of a shorter railway line for a part of the route, the 403.8 kilometres (250.9 mi) stretch was assigned a separate identity.

The Delhi–Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System is an 82.15 km (51.05 mi) long, semi-high speed rail corridor which will be India's first Regional Rapid Transit System currently under construction and will connect Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut. It is one of the three rapid rail corridors planned under Phase I of the RapidX project managed by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC). With a maximum speed of 180 km/h (111.85 mph), the distance between Delhi and Meerut will be covered in less than 60 minutes. The project will cost 30,274 crore (US$3.8 billion) and will have 22 stations, and two Depots at Duhai and Modipuram.

Sahibabad RRTS station is an under construction RRTS station in Ghaziabad district, Uttar Pradesh, India which will serves mainly higher-speed trains. It will serve as an elevated station for higher-speed trains on the Delhi–Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System that can reach speeds of up to 180 km/h. The station will be powered by solar energy, with 1,100 solar panels on the station's roof.
