Flintshire is a county in the north-east of Wales. It covers an area of 437.5 km2 (168.9 sq mi) [1] and in 2021 the population was approximately 155,100. [2]
The Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales was established in 2002 and given statutory status in 2022. It is administered by Cadw, the historic environment agency of the Welsh Government. It includes just under 400 sites, ranging from gardens of private houses, to cemeteries and public parks. Parks and gardens are listed at one of three grades, matching the grading system used for listed buildings. Grade I is the highest grade, for sites of exceptional interest; Grade II*, the next highest, denotes parks and gardens of more than special interest; while Grade II denotes nationally important sites of special interest. There are 24 registered parks and gardens in Flintshire. Two are listed at grade I, six at grade II*, and 16 at grade II.

(New) Hawarden Castle is a house in Hawarden, Flintshire, Wales. It was the estate of the former British prime minister William Gladstone, having previously belonged to the family of his wife, Catherine Glynne. Built in the mid-18th century, it was later enlarged and externally remodelled in the Gothic taste.
Plas Teg is a Grade I listed Jacobean house in Wales. It is near the village of Pontblyddyn in Flintshire, between Wrexham and Mold. It is considered to be one of the finest examples of Jacobean architecture in Wales, and the finest in North Wales.
Halkyn Castle is a mansion house in the village of Halkyn, Flintshire, Wales. The house, with its associated stable block, is designated by Cadw as a Grade II* listed building.

Leeswood Hall is a country house in Leeswood, Flintshire, Wales. Dating from 1742, it was built for George Wynne, the design being attributed to Francis Smith. Construction reputedly cost £40,000. The hall is a Grade II* listed building. To the northwest of the hall stand the White Gates, which have their own Grade I listing. The gates terminate the view from the hall across the lawns, an early and rare example of 18th century parkland design by Stephen Switzer, and a Grade I listed landscape of national significance.
Fferm Farmhouse is a small Elizabethan manor house, located to the east of Pontblyddyn in the county of Flintshire, Wales. It is listed as a grade I historic building, as 'an exceptionally fine example of a small manorial house', particularly because it retains much of its original sub-medieval detail and layout. It was likely built during the late 16th century by John Lloyd, one of the Lloyds of nearby Hartsheath Hall, who is recorded as having inhabited the house in the period between 1575 and 1625. The exterior of the house follows the vernacular style of other such local buildings like Pentrehobyn Hall near Mold.
Rhual is a Grade I listed building in Flintshire. This small mansion has medieval origins and is surrounded by a large landscaped park. The present building was constructed in 1634 by Evan Edwards, a member of a well established Flintshire family which traced its descent from the Welsh king Hywel Dda. He most likely incorporated an older medieval house into the north wing of the current building. The house has since been built upon further, and the east and south entrances were created in the 19th century.
Nerquis Hall is a 17th-century gentry house located in the North Wales village of Nercwys, Flintshire. Completed in the mid-1600s, the hall has survived in good condition and is currently a private residence. Nerquis Hall was designated a Grade I listed building in October 1952.

Pentrehobyn is a large house standing just to the south-east of Mold, Flintshire, Wales. The present hall dates mainly from the mid-17th century, although parts may be older, and it includes later additions. The estate was owned, and the hall built, by the Lloyd family, local landowners who served as agents to the Lords of Penryhn in the 19th century. The hall is designated by Cadw as a Grade I listed building. An attached llettau (lodgings) block has its own Grade I listing. The gardens and grounds are designated Grade II on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales.
Golden Grove is an Elizabethan house to the west of the village of Llanasa, Flintshire, Wales. The mansion dates from 1578 and was built by Sir Edward Morgan, an official at the court of Elizabeth I. In the 19th century the estate was bought by Henry Pochin, owner of Bodnant Hall in neighboring Conwy, whose daughter, Laura, laid out the grounds at Golden Grove. The house is designated by Cadw as a Grade I listed building and the gardens and grounds are designated Grade II on the Cadw/ICOMOS Register of Parks and Gardens of Special Historic Interest in Wales.
