The Romanian Figure Skating Championships is a figure skating competition held annually to crown the national championships of Romania. Skaters compete in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. In 2023, the Romanian Championships were combined with the 2023 EduSport Trophy. [1]

Sport Club Municipal Râmnicu Vâlcea, commonly known as SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea or Râmnicu Vâlcea, is a Romanian football team from Râmnicu Vâlcea, Vâlcea County. The club is currently playing in Liga III, after spending 12 years in the Liga II, the club was reorganized in the summer of 2017 after some financial problems.

CSM Știința Baia Mare is a professional Romanian rugby union club from Baia Mare, which plays in the Liga Națională de Rugby, the first division of Romanian rugby. The 2017–18 Liga IV was the 76th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a playoff to gain promotion. From this season the counties were divided into 7 regions, each consisting of 6 counties and the draw was made on 28 February 2018, with 3 months and a half before the first matches.

Nicolae "Coco" Dumitrescu was a Romanian footballer and manager. As a footballer, he played mainly as a forward and throughout his career, he won four Divizia A titles and two cups with ITA Arad and as a manager, he won two titles with the same team, also in the 1970–71 European Cup season they eliminated Feyenoord who were European champions at that time and for these performances he is considered a symbol of the club.

Aurora Cotop is a retired Canadian figure skater. She is the 2019 Bavarian Open bronze medalist and 2019 Canadian national silver medalist. Earlier in her career, she won the junior ladies' title at the 2017 Canadian Championships and competed in the final segment at the 2018 World Junior Championships.

At the 2022 European Junior Swimming Championships, he won gold medals in the 1500-metre freestyle and 4×100-metre freestyle relay and silver medals in the 400-metre freestyle and 800-metre freestyle.
Patrick Sebastian Dinu is a Romanian competitive swimmer specializing in sprint freestyle events. At the 2022 World Junior Championships, he won a gold medal in the 4×100-metre freestyle relay, a silver medal in the 4×100-metre mixed freestyle relay, and placed fifth in the final of the 100-metre freestyle. He is a gold medalist in the 4×100-metre freestyle relay at the European Junior Championships in 2022 and silver medalist in 2021, as well as a silver medalist in the 4×100-metre mixed freestyle relay and in 2022.
