Onotony Koli Safa (born 29 August 1994) also known as Safa Kabir, [2] is a Bangladeshi model and actress. She is notable for her works in television commercials, dramas and telefilms since 2013. [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

Early life and education

Safa Kabir was born in Barisal, Bangladesh. She was given her birth name Onotony Koli Safa by her paternal grandfather. She goes by the name Safa Kabir due to people mispronouncing and making fun of her name growing up.

She is an alumna of BAF Shaheen College Dhaka. [8] She received her BBA degree from American International University-Bangladesh. [9]

Career

Kabir made her début in media world when she has worked in a TVC of Airtel Bangladesh. Then she has worked in the TVCs of Pran Peanut Bar and Parachute Coconut Oil. After that she has acted in multiple telefilms. [2] safa Kabir kicks off the journey in the media industry with a television commercial for Airtel Bangladesh directed by Ashfaq Bipul. She performs in several popular TVCs including ‘Pran Peanut Bar’ and ‘Parachute Oil’. Safa hosted a program ‘Style and Trend’ on NTV.

She made her debut in the television drama "Tumi Thako Shindhu Pare," which was broadcast on ATN Bangla. Since then, she has starred in several popular dramas such as "Boro Chele", "Chompa House", "Buker Ba Pashe", "Alo", “Lota Audio", “Chirokal Aaj”, “ Kajoler Din Ratri”. Mehazabien is widely recognized for her versatility in acting and has received numerous awards and accolades for her performances. Her notable awards include the Meril Prothom Alo Awards - 2017, 2018, 2019,2021, CJFB Performance Award-2012, 2013, 2014, 2019, 2020 and 2021. Sabbir Nasir is a Bangladeshi singer, composer, songwriter. He works on folk fusion, indie pop and blues music. He started performing on stage at the age of 16. He was the vocalist and the lead guitarist of different bands. His last band, Metamorphosis published their first and last album in 1998. Since 1998 till 2018, Sabbir was out of the musical scene. He started singing again in 2018 at the studios and on stages and some of his folk and Blues songs became very much popular among Bangladeshi and Indian Audience. Some of his top Folk singles are "Binodini Rai" which is a duet song, sung along with Sampa Biswas from India, "Amare Dia Dilam Tomare", "Tumi Dome Dom" etc. He got CJFB Award in 2020 for his Single "Horsho". He was recognized with Safekeeper Channel i Digital Award in 2021 for his song "Amare Dia Dilam Tomare". In 2021, for his single "Adha" he won the bronze award in the Male singer category at the Global Music Awards program, organised by a California-based organisation. His first English single "Drowning" was featured in various international magazines.

Keya Akter Payelia Payel commonly known as Keya Akter Payel, is a Bangladeshi television actress, Bollywood film actress and model. She is mostly popular for her works in Bangladeshi dramas. She has worked in a film Indubala as a lead actress. The film was released in theatre in 2019.
