It is bordered by Minnesota to the west, Iowa to the southwest, Illinois to the south, Lake Michigan to the east, Michigan to the northeast, and Lake Superior to the north.

Stockbridge is a town in Calumet County, Wisconsin. The population was 1,456 at the time of the 2010 census. The village of Stockbridge, and the unincorporated communities of Kloten, Quinney, and Saint Catherines Bay are located within the town.
Sturgeon Bay is a city in and the county seat of Door County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 9,646 at the 2020 Census. The city is well-known regionally for being the largest city of the Door Peninsula, after which the county is named.

Superior Bay is a narrow inlet of Lake Superior along the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin. It is seven miles (11 km) long and 0.5 miles (0.8 km) wide. A small strait connects it to the Saint Louis Bay to the west, into which the Saint Louis River empties. Superior Bay is located between the city of Superior and the Park Point neighborhood of Duluth. The Duluth Harbor Basin is nearby.

Buxton Glacier is a glacier flowing northeast between Heaney Glacier and Cook Glacier, on the north coast of the island of South Georgia, immediately south of Mount Skittle. The terminus of Buxton Glacier is located at Saint Andrews Bay. Buxton Glacier is close to Ross Glacier, which is leaving a gravel beach in the wake of its retreat.
