Saint Lucia first competed at the Commonwealth Games in 1962. They appeared again in 1970 and 1978, and have appeared in every Games since 1994. The first out of their three medals came in 2002 in the men's pole vault, a bronze from Dominic Johnson. Their second and third medals came in 2010 and 2014 in the women's high jump, 2 bronzes from Levern Spencer. [1]

Anthony Alexander Jarrett is a male former sprint and hurdling athlete from England.
Jennifer Elaine "Jenny" Stoute is English former sprinter. She represented Great Britain at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul and the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, where she won a bronze medal in the 4x400 metres relay. She also appeared as Rebel in the ITV show Gladiators from 1996 to 1999.
The England national women's netball team, also known as the Vitality Roses, represent England in international netball competition. England are coached by Jess Thirlby, and are currently captained by Natalie Metcalf. As of 1 July 2020, the team is ranked third in the INF World Rankings. England have won one silver and several bronze medals at the World Cup and have won one gold medal at the Commonwealth Games.
Sports in Saint Lucia consist of a wide variety of games.
At the 2002 Commonwealth Games, the athletics events were held at the City of Manchester Stadium on 26–30 July 2002. The route for the marathon event crossed Manchester city centre and finished in the stadium. The race walk events began alongside the Lowry Centre at Salford Quays. There were twenty-five men's events and 23 women's events; the schedules were identical except that there were men's 3000 metres steeplechase and 50 kilometres walk events. Pole vaulter Dominic Johnson won a bronze medal, Saint Lucia's only medal of the Games.
At the 1994 Commonwealth Games, the athletics event were held in Victoria, BC, Canada, at the Centennial Stadium on the grounds of the University of Victoria. A total of 44 events were contested, of which 22 by male 19 by female athletes. Furthermore, 2 men's disability events were held within the programme.
Levern Donaline Spencer, SLMM is a Saint Lucian retired athlete and high jumper. Spencer was a four-time Olympian for Saint Lucia and competed in eight World Championships. She was also a gold medalist at both the Commonwealth Games and Pan-American Games.

India has competed in all except four editions of the Commonwealth Games; starting at the second Games in 1934. India has also hosted the games once, in 2010. The most successful event for India in these games is shooting.
Dominica have attended nine Commonwealth Games to date. The first came in 1958, with further appearances coming in 1962 and 1970, then they did not take part for twenty-four years. They have appeared at every Games since 1994. Dominica won its first ever Commonwealth Games medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Grenada have competed in ten Commonwealth Games. The first Games for the nation was in 1970. They attended the next three Games, but did not appear between 1982 and 1998. Grenada have only won 5 Commonwealth Games medal to date: in 2006, a silver in the men's 400 metres from Alleyne Francique, in 2014 they won a bronze medal in the men's decathlon from Kurt Felix and their first ever gold medal: Kirani James in the men's 400 metres. This made the Glasgow 2014 the most successful Commonwealth Games in their history. They repeated the achievement in the Gold Coast 2018 when Lindon Victor won their second gold medal, this time in the decathlon and Javelin Thrower Anderson Peters won the bronze medal in his event.
Sushil Kumar is a former Indian wrestler. He carried the Indian flag at the opening ceremony of 2012 London Olympics. His 2008 Olympic medal was the second for India in wrestling, and the first since Khashaba Dadasaheb Jadhav's bronze medal at the 1952 Summer Olympics. In July 2009, he received the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna – India's highest honour for sportspersons. On 3 October 2010, Kumar handed the Queen's Baton to Prince Charles in the Queen's Baton Relay for the 2010 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony. Sushil won the gold medal in the 74 kg division at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Sushil won the gold medal in the 74 kg division at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
Danielle Beaubrun is an Olympic and National Record holding swimmer from the Caribbean island nation of Saint Lucia. She swam for Saint Lucia at the 2008 Olympic Games, where she was the youngest member of the country's Olympic team, and again at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Peter Stuart Jackson is a table tennis player representative of New Zealand. He competed in three Summer Olympics and two Commonwealth Games, winning a bronze medal at 2002 Commonwealth Games.

Sakshi Malik is an Indian freestyle wrestler. At the 2016 Summer Olympics, she won the bronze medal in the 58 kg category, becoming the first Indian female wrestler to win a medal at the Olympics.
