Silverbird Galleria is a shopping mall and entertainment centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. [1]
Silverbird Galleria was established in 2004 by Silverbird Group, [2] a media and real estate company founded by Ben Murray-Bruce in the 1980s. The movie theatre, Silverbird Cinemas which revolutionalized cinema in Nigeria [3] pioneered the first five-screens Cineplex in sub-Saharan Africa. Silverbird Cinemas also possesses the largest cinema chain in West Africa with several locations in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Uyo and Accra, Ghana.
Silverbird Galleria has a shirts retailer, café and mobile network offices for feasible communication and internet access, all located on the ground floor. Electronic gadgets retailers and the Rhythm 93.7 FM broadcasting studio (operated by Silverbird) are on the first floor. The second floor has arcades and food services. The Silverbird Cinema is on the third and topmost floor. Additional services include a pharmacy, lounge and beauty shop. There is also a Silverbird galleria located at Ikeja CityMall, Lagos. The Palms Shopping Mall is located on a 45,000-square-metre (11-acre) plot of land in Lekki, Lagos State. It has 21,000 square metres of lettable retail space. The mall was built on swampland that was reclaimed recently by the government. After its construction, the mall was commissioned by the Oba of Lagos and President Obasanjo. The mall, which opened in late 2005, has 69 stores and a modern six screen cinema. It also has parking space for about 1000 cars.

Notably employing the experience of an American Filmmaker to serve as Cinematographer and Editor. The film's official release in Ghana was one of the largest turnout outs ever in the history of Silverbird Theater in Accra Mall.
Render to Caesar is a 2014 Nigerian crime thriller film written and produced by Desmond Ovbiagele, directed by Desmond Ovbiagele and Onyekachi Ejim. It stars Wale Ojo, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Omoni Oboli and Bimbo Manuel with Special appearances from Kehinde Bankole and Femi Jacobs. The film was initially slated to be released in the second quarter of 2013 but was pushed back due to delayed post production; it was however released on 28 March 2014. The film which was supported by Microsoft, Trace and FCMB tells the story of two friends who return from abroad to join the Nigeria Police Force, only to be faced with an impossible mystery case involving a criminal, Caesar who has been terrorising the city of Lagos for quite sometime.
