Sinoennea is a genus of air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Diapheridae. [3] [2]
The name of the genus Sinoennea originates from Sino- (Chinese) + Ennea .
The distribution of Sinoennea includes South of India, Indochina, China (South of Yangtze River [4] and Taiwan [5] ), Malaysian Peninsula [6] [4] in Malaysia [3] and Thailand, [4] [3] Sumatra, Japan and South Korea. [3]
The shell of Sinoennea has 6-7 whorls. [3] The whorls are swelling. [4]
This genus used to belong to the families Streptaxidae [4] and Diapheridae, but the newest assigned it to the Family Enneinae. [3]
