St. Dominic's College is an arts and science college in Kanjirappally, Kerala, India. It is affiliated to the Mahatma Gandhi University and is reaccredited A grade by NAAC.
St. Dominic's College (also known as SD College) is located in Kanjirappally, Kottayam. The campus is 4 km from Kanjirappally town along the NH 220 highway. The campus is connected by buses to Kottayam, Pala and Changanacherry.
The facilities are integrated into a single block. The administrative section is located at the ground floor. The departments are distributed across the two wings of the entrance.
The college has an auditorium with integrated indoor sports facilities. The auditorium was constructed to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of the college.
The college sports stadium is located to the right of the main building.
St Dominic's College was started in 1965 under the Catholic management of St Dominic's Forane Church, Kanjirappally, to cater to the higher educational needs of the parish in particular, and of the eastern parts of the Archdiocese of Changanacherry in general. When the new Diocese of Kanjirappally was formed in 1977, St Dominic's College became the only institution offering higher education in the whole diocese.

Charles Lavigne, S.J. was a Catholic bishop of the Latin Church from France who was appointed as the first Vicar Apostolic in the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church Vicariate of Kottayam on 20 May 1887. After shifting the seat of Kottayam Vicariate to Changanacherry on 16 September 1890, his term ended on 28 July 1896. He later served as the first Bishop of Trincomalee, Sri Lanka from 27 August 1898 until his death at Marvejols in France on 11 July 1913.

Government College Kattappana is an arts and science college functioning under the Department of Collegiate Education, Government of Kerala. Dayaraya Xavier Koodapuzha Ramban Professor Emeritus of Paurastya Vidhya Peedam was born on 28 February 1934 in Chenapady, Kanjirappally. His parents are Joseph Chacko and Annamma Koodapuzha. After completing his primary schooling, he did his tertiary studies at the St. Berchmans College in Changanacherry. He joined Parel St. Thomas Seminary in the year 1951 and did priestly studies at the Propaganda Fide College in Rome. He received a doctorate in theology and a master's degree in philosophy from the Urban University in Rome and masters degrees in Oriental sciences and Oriental canon law from the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome. He is a church historian and a scholar. He is a notable contributor to the Catholic Church.

Archbishop Kavukatt Jubilee Memorial School, abbreviated as AKJM Public School, is a private Catholic primary and secondary school located in Kanjirappally, Kottayam District, in the state of Kerala, India. The school was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1961 and follows the principles of Jesuit pedagogy.
