Still Dreaming (stylized in all caps) is the first Japanese-language studio album by South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together. It was released by Big Hit Entertainment,Universal Music Japan,and Republic Records on January 20,2021,three months after their third extended play Minisode1:Blue Hour (2020). [8] The ten-track album comprises Japanese versions of six of the group's Korean songs;two new instrumental tracks;a new original Japanese song,"Force";and their previous Japanese single,"Everlasting Shine". Recorded in Japanese and English,Still Dreaming is a J-pop album that borrows numerous musical elements including disco,pop rock,and synth-pop.
The album became Tomorrow X Together's third consecutive number one on the Oricon Albums Chart—after The Dream Chapter:Eternity and Minisode1:Blue Hour—with first week sales of over 87,000 copies. It was the group's first album to cross 100,000 copies in Japan and their third release to be certified by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ),achieving Gold status that same month.
In March 2019 South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together debuted with extended play “The Dream Chapter:Star”that portrayed the experiences that boys encounter in the process of growing up. [9] The following releases,“The Dream Chapter:Magic”continued their story of growing from adolescent. [10] In January 2020 TXT debuted in Japan with the single “Magic Hour”which contains the Japanese version of previously released songs. Subsequently,they released their second Japanese single “Drama”in August leading up to the release of their Japanese studio album announced on November 23,2020,with the release date of January 20,2021. [11] The album contains songs from all their previous releases.
In November 2020 it was revealed that the single “Force”would be written by Motoki Omori from Mrs. Green Apple,a five-member Japanese rock band from Tokyo. The single was featured as the theme song for the second season of TV Asahi animation series “World Trigger”. [12] [13]
The album was pre-released digitally on January 19,followed by physical release a day later. [14] Limited territories outside of Japan received the physical editions. Physical pre-orders for the album began on November 23,after the different Limited and Regular versions of the album were announced. Six versions of the album were made available:two Limited Editions A and B,a CD only Regular Edition,and three limited editions of the regular edition. Limited Editions A includes the CD and lyrics paper in a Keep case which is encased in a limited-edition deluxe slip case with two 24-page booklet filled with daytime photos and sunset-time photos respectively. [15] Limited Editions B includes a Jewel case containing a CD and a DVD featuring the music video for "Blue Hour (Japanese Ver.)," a making-of video and footage from cover photoshoot,a lyric booklet as well as a 12-page booklet filled with daytime and sunset-time photos encased in a limited-edition slip case. Contrarily,the CD-only Regular Edition comes with a lyric booklet instead and one of five random "Standard ver." photocards included as a first-press only bonus. The Weverse Shop Japan,The Universal Music Store and Loppi•HMV Limited Editions of this version also include a lyric booklet with the former two having B3 size poster and later having a post card as their respective bonuses. Following commercial success in Japan,the album was later released in United States on February 12,2021,through Universal Music Enterprises (UME),a catalog division of Universal Music Group. Yunika Vision ran a half-hour long special feature of six full-length uncut version of TXT music videos including "Blue Hour [Japanese Ver.]" on its screens in front of Seibu-Shinjuku Station from January 21 to January 27;the feature was also accessible for mobile viewing with high-quality sound via the "VISION α" app. [18]
Tomorrow X Together held the premiere performance of Japanese version of "Blue Hour" on TBS Japan's CDTV Live! Live! Christmas 4-hour special on December 21 via pre-recorded video. [19] [20] They guested on Nippon TV's Buzz Rhythm 02 on January 22 for their second performance of Japanese version of "Blue Hour". [21] [22] The band presented the song again next week on the January 26 broadcast of Nippon TV's Sukkiri. [23]
The band performed "Force" for the first time on TV Asahi's Music Station on January 29. [24] They performed the song again on TV Asahi's Break Out on February 3. [25] [26] They performed the song "Force" in a Single-Take for The First Take which premiered on YouTube channel on February 10. [27] [28] The band continued promoting the album at the TBS Japan's Music Day by performing "Force" on July 17,2021. [29]
The album debuted atop the Oricon Weekly Album Chart on chart issue dated February 1,2021,making it the third consecutive album in Japan to reach number one on Oricon's weekly chart. [30] Still Dreaming also continued in first place on Oricon's daily album chart for six consecutive days after its release,marking first place six times in total during the first week. According to Oricon,Tomorrow X Together's album recorded an estimated 87,000 units in sales within the first week of release. [31] On Billboard Japan's Hot Albums chart,Still Dreaming entered atop,selling an estimated 100,000 units. [32]
On February 12,the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) announced that Still Dreaming had sold over 100,000 copies and eventually received a gold certification. The album reached the benchmark within a month of its release on January 20,2021. [33]
In United States,Tomorrow X Together marked their 3rd entry on the Billboard 200 when Still Dreaming debuted at 173,making them the first artist since BTS to chart on Billboard 200 with a Japanese-language album. [34] [35]

Count Down TV is a Japanese late-night music television program, broadcast on TBS since 1993. The program is shown weekly, and features a Japanese music video hit chart countdown, live performances from musicians and music information. It is presented by three animated hosts.
Are You Happy? is the fifteenth studio album of the Japanese idol group Arashi. The album was released on October 26, 2016 under their record label J Storm in two editions: a first press/limited edition and a regular edition. The regular edition comes with a 36-page lyrics booklet and the limited edition comes with an 80-page photo lyrics and a bonus DVD with the music video and making-of for "Don't You Get It?". The album sold over 636,000 copies in its first week and topped the Oricon charts. With more than 720,000 copies sold, the album was certified for Triple Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). It was released digitally on February 7, 2020.
"Power of the Paradise" is the 50th single by Japanese boy band Arashi. It was released on September 14, 2016 under their record label J Storm. "Power of the Paradise" was used as the theme song for NTV's news coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics, which featured member Sho Sakurai as the main newscaster. The single sold over 420,000 copies in its first week and topped the weekly Oricon Singles Chart. The single was certified Double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ). "I'll Be There" is the 51st single by Japanese boy band Arashi. It was released on April 19, 2017 under their record label J Storm. "I'll be there" was used as the theme song for the television drama Kizoku Tantei starring Arashi member Masaki Aiba. "Boku wa Boku o Suki ni Naru" is the 26th single by Japanese idol group Nogizaka46. It was released on January 27, 2021, through N46Div. The song was written by Yasushi Akimoto and composed by Katsuhiko Sugiyama about the transition of the human's mind until it is decided to start something with vocals which transparent to the melody of the piano and strings. Mizuki Yamashita served as the center position of the song for the first time, and Miona Hori also participated as her last single from the group.
"Kaibutsu" is a song by Japanese duo Yoasobi from their second EP, The Book 2 (2021). It was released as a single through Sony Music Entertainment Japan on January 6, 2021, the same date as the duo's debut EP, The Book. As an opening theme for the second season of the anime television series Beastars, "Kaibutsu" is about a carnivore trying to coexist with herbivores in a cruel world, based on Jibun no Mune ni Jibun no Mimi o Oshi Atete, written by the anime's writer Paru Itagaki.
Challenger is an extended play (EP) marketed as the third single of Japanese boy group JO1. It also served as the lead single for their second studio album, Kizuna (2022). Consisting of a total of six songs, the EP single was released by Lapone Entertainment into three different physical editions and one digital edition on April 28, 2021. It features the participation of various Japanese and South Korean songwriters and production teams such as Score, Megatone, Teito, Kebee, Masahiro Ōchi, Hayato Tanaka and others. The single earned the top spot at the Oricon Singles Chart and received a Platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of Japan with its lead track "Born to Be Wild" peaked atop the Billboard Japan Hot 100.
The Chaos Chapter: Freeze is the second studio album by South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together. It was released on May 31, 2021, by Big Hit Music through YG Plus in South Korea, and Republic Records in the United States. Three singles were released in promotion of the album: the lead single "0X1=Lovesong " which debuted alongside the album on May 31 and "Magic", the band's first English single, on June 1. A hybrid pop-rock album, it received critical acclaim from critics who praised its diverse bold sounds and cohesiveness, and the way it highlighted the writing and production abilities of the band members. The album became the band's fourth consecutive number-one in South Korea and sold over 630,000 copies upon release. Stranger is an extended play (EP) marketed as the fourth single of Japanese boy group JO1. It also served as the second single for their second studio album, Kizuna (2022). Consisting of a total of six songs that fall mostly in the EDM, futurepop and city pop genres, the EP single was released by Lapone Entertainment into three different physical editions and one digital edition on August 18, 2021. Superstar is the first Japanese extended play by South Korean boy group Shinee. It was released digitally on June 28, 2021, through EMI Records, with its physical release following a month later on July 28. The EP contains five songs including the lead single, "Superstar". Chaotic Wonderland is the first Japanese-language extended play by South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together. It was released by Big Hit Music and Universal Music Japan on November 10, 2021. Thematically, it follows their previous album The Chaos Chapter: Freeze, released in May 2021. Time Flies is the first greatest hits and second overall compilation album by Japanese idol girl group Nogizaka46. It was released on December 15, 2021, through N46Div., and Sony Music Records, two years and nine months after its predecessor studio album, Ima ga Omoide ni Naru made (2019) for the tenth-anniversary celebration of the group.
