Bolsa Chica State Beach is a public ocean beach in Orange County, California, United States. It is surrounded entirely by the city of Huntington Beach to the north and east, and to the northwest by the Huntington Beach community of Sunset Beach and the Pacific Ocean to the west. The beach extends 3 miles (5 km) from Warner Avenue in Sunset Beach south to Seapoint Avenue, where the Huntington City Beach begins. The Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve is located across the busy Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) from the beach and is a popular spot for birdwatching. The Bolsa Chica Bicycle Path runs along the length of the park through Huntington City Beach.

Bird Island is approximately 1,300 acres (5.3 km2) adjacent to the town of Sunset Beach, North Carolina, US. Sunset Beach is on a barrier island and is the southernmost town in North Carolina. Bird Island can be reached by walking along the seashore toward the South Carolina border. Due to the contour of the Atlantic Coast at this point, the direction of travel to Bird Island is approximately West-Southwest. Previously, Bird Island was separated from Sunset Beach by a tidal creek that could be easily crossed only at low tide. Accretion of ocean sand has gradually filled in the tidal creek so that two separate islands became one.

Sunset Beach is a small unincorporated community located between the cities of Seaside and Warrenton in Clatsop County, Oregon, United States. Sunset Beach is located between U.S. Route 101, Sunset Lake and the Pacific Ocean. It serves as the northernmost access to the resort community of Surf Pines, and provides motor vehicle beach access. The "Fort to Sea Trail", which follows the route used by the Lewis and Clark Expedition when hiking from Fort Clatsop to the Pacific Ocean, ends at the beach access. A beach of the same name is west of the community.

Virginia Harrison is a fictional character from the American television soap opera Sunset Beach, played by Dominique Jennings. She made her first appearance during the episode broadcast on March 17, 1997. Jennings originally auditioned for another role in the soap. Virginia was supposed to feature in ten episodes but producers offered Jennings a permanent contract to join the show's regular cast. Virginia is characterized as a "bad girl" and has been central to a controversial storyline in which she impregnates a fellow female character without their consent. In the plot, Virginia uses a sperm laced turkey baster to assault her love rival, Vanessa Hart. The story formed one of Virginia's main story arcs in which she attempts to snare Michael Bourne from Vanessa. This is included Virginia impersonating a nurse to fool Vanessa, which during filming Jennings wore a fat suit to create Virginia's disguise. Jennings made her final appearance as Virginia during the episode broadcast on March 4, 1999.

Sunset is a ghost town in Pocahontas County, West Virginia. Sunset was 3.5 miles (5.6 km) northeast of Minnehaha Springs. Sunset appeared on USGS maps as late as 1901.

Lago Mar is a neighborhood on the north end of the Currituck Sound in the Princess Anne area of southeastern Virginia Beach, Virginia, United States. The name translated from Spanish to English means "lake" and "sea". It is derived from its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and Brinson's Inlet Lake, as well as from the neighboring community of Ocean Lakes. The street names within Lago Mar are also of Spanish origin with the notable exception of Atwoodtown, which is what the area was called prior to being renamed in the 1960s.
