The Technological University (Banmaw)(also spell Bhamo) was initially constructed as Technological College (Banmaw) in December, 2001. The main building was opened on February 11, 2002. The new two- storey building was started to build on January 1, 2002 by Shwe Than Lwin Company and opened on July 10, 2005. Technological College (Banmaw) was upgraded to Technological University (Banmaw) on January 20, 2007.

The College of Engineering Pune (COEP) Technological University is a unitary public university of the Government of Maharashtra, situated in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Established in 1854, it is the 3rd oldest engineering institute in India, after College of Engineering, Guindy (1794) and IIT Roorkee (1847). Delhi Technological University (DTU), formerly Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) is a state university in Rohini, Delhi, India. It was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic. In 1952, it started giving degrees after being affiliated with the Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi. The institute has been under the Government of Delhi since 1963 and was affiliated with the Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi from 1952 to 2009. In 2009, the college was given university status, thus changing its name to Delhi Technological University.

On 1 September 1997, the high school was upgraded to the Government Technical Institute (G.T.I) level and then on 2 October 1999, it became the Government Technological Colleges (G.T.C) level. On 28 April 2006, transfer to Swe Aike Quarter, Panmtee village and open the new Technological University with the three stories building.

It was first opened as Government Technical Institute (Maubin) on 3 November 1989. It was upgraded to Government Technological College on 31 May 2002, and to Technological University (Maubin) on 20 January 2007.
