District 9 of the Texas Senate is a senatorial district that currently serves a portion of Tarrant County in the U.S. state of Texas.^[1] The seat is currently vacant upon Kelly Hancock's resignation to become chief clerk of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts office^[2]
