Mallorca, or Majorca, is the largest island in the Balearic Islands, which are part of Spain, and the seventh largest island in the Mediterranean Sea.
The Xuetes are a social group on the Spanish island of Majorca, in the Mediterranean Sea, who are descendants of Majorcan Jews that either were conversos or were Crypto-Jews, forced to keep their religion hidden. They practiced strict endogamy by marrying only within their own group. Many of their descendants observe a syncretist form of Christian worship known as Xueta Christianity.
Club Deportivo Atlético Baleares, S.A.D. is a Spanish football team based in Palma, Majorca, in the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. Founded on 1920, it currently plays in Primera División RFEF – Group 2, hosting games at Estadio Balear with a capacity of 6,000 seats.
The Palma Metro is a light metro system in Palma, Majorca, Spain. The initial line of the system, M1, is 7.2 kilometres (4.5 mi) long and has nine stations. It was constructed between 2005 and 2007 at cost of 312 million euros and opened for service on 25 April 2007. In March 2013, an existing 8.35-kilometre (5.2 mi) rail line with nine stations was incorporated into metro system as the M2 line.
Father Antoni Maria Alcover i Sureda, also known as Mossèn Alcover was a modernist Majorcan writer, who wrote on a wide range of subjects including the Catholic Church, folklore and linguistics. He is chiefly associated with efforts to revive interest in the Catalan language and its dialects. Among his works was a Catalan-Valencian-Balearic dictionary.

Joaquín María Bover de Roselló was a Spanish writer and editor who wrote primarily in Spanish but also some poems in Catalan. Bover grew up on Majorca, with occasional stays in Madrid. He was an avid student of the Balearic Islands, writing several books about its geographical and historical aspects, as well as several studies on its writers and literature, such as his dictionary on Balearic writers. He also wrote inspirational poems and poems about local circumstance, as well as compiling a Mallorcan Catalan-Spanish dictionary.
Més per Mallorca is a Majorcan political coalition formed by Socialist Party of Majorca (PSM), IniciativaVerds (IV) and Entesa per Mallorca (ExM), as well as some small independent, local parties around the island. It was created in 2010 by the PSM, Left Initiative (Iniciativa) and The Greens (EV) under the name PSM–Iniciativa–Verds. After the merger of Iniciativa and EV into IV in 2010, and with the incorporation of ExM in 2011, it was renamed as PSM–IniciativaVerds–Entesa. In 2013, the current name was adopted.

The Ca Rater Mallorquí or Spanish: Ratonero mallorquín is a Spanish breed of dog of ratter type, found on the island of Mallorca in the Balearic Islands.
The Ca Mè Mallorquí is a Spanish breed of pointing dog originating in the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands. It was traditionally used as a pointing dog in hunting. It was officially recognised by the national government of Spain in 2004, but is not recognised by either the Fédération Cynologique Internationale or the Real Sociedad Canina de España.
