Sajama is a province in the northwestern parts of the Bolivian Oruro Department.
Turco Municipality is the second municipal section of the Sajama Province in the Oruro Department in Bolivia, and was founded on February 15, 1957. Its seat is Turco, situated 154 km west of Oruro at an altitude of 3,860 m. The municipality covers an area of 3,973 km², not taking into account the area of Laca Laca Canton.
Kunturiri is a volcano in the Andes on the border of Bolivia and Chile which rises up to 5,762 metres (18,904 ft). On the Chilean side it is located in the Arica and Parinacota Region and on the Bolivian side in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Curahuara de Carangas Municipality, Sajama Canton as well as in the La Paz Department, Pacajes Province, Calacoto Municipality, Ulloma Canton.
Salla Qullu is a 4,990-metre-high (16,371 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Occidental in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality, Chachacomani Canton, south-east of the mountain Capurata and the Acotango volcano and south of the Bolivian Route 4 that leads to Tambo Quemado on the border with Chile.
Wila Qullu is a 4,730-metre-high (15,518 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Occidental in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality, Chachacomani Canton. The mountain is situated east of the volcanoes Capurata, Acotango and Wallatiri and north-east of the mountain Ari Qullu Phujru. It lies south of the Bolivian Route 4 that leads to Tambo Quemado on the border with Chile.
Asu Asuni is a 5,088-metre-high (16,693 ft) mountain in a volcanic complex in the Cordillera Occidental in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality, Turco Canton. It is situated southeast of the extinct Sajama volcano (3 km), between the Chullkani volcano in the west (3 km) and Turco in the east, at the National Route 27.
Jitiri is a 4,506-metre-high (14,783 ft) volcano in the Andes, located in the Cordillera Occidental of Bolivia in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality, Cosapa Canton. It is situated south-east of the extinct Sajama volcano, between the volcano Chullkani in the south-west and the village Cosapa in the north-east.
Sura K'uchu is a region in the Cordillera Occidental in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turku Municipality, Chachakumani Canton. Sura K'uchu is situated south-east of the Uqi Uqini volcano and north-east of the volcano Umurata. It lies south of National Route 4 near the Chungara-Tambo Quemado pass. The river Jaruma originates here. It flows to the north-east as an affluent of the Sajama River.
Kunturiri is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,512 metres (14,803 ft) high. It is situated in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turku Municipality, Turku Canton, northeast of Turku (Turco). The rivers Kunturiri and Phurqi Q'awa (Porkhekhaua) originate near the mountain. They flow down to Turku River, a left tributary of Lauca River.
Wayna Potosí is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,969 metres (16,302 ft) high. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turku Municipality, Turku Canton, northwest of Turku (Turco). The Turku River originates near the mountain. It is a left tributary of the Lauca River.
Kiswara is a 4,018-metre-high (13,182 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, in the south of the Turco Municipality. Kiswara lies southeast of the mountain Uyarani. It is on the left bank of the Challwiri River (Chalviri, Challhuiri), a left tributary of the Lauca River.
Chachakumani is a 4,712-metre-high (15,459 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Occidental in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, in the west of the Turco Municipality. Chachakumani lies south of Muru Qullu, northeast of Umurata and Kuntur Ikiña and southeast of Uqi Uqini. The Jaruma River flows between Muru Qullu and Chachakumani. It is a tributary of the Sajama River.
Phasa Willk'i is a 5,034-metre-high (16,516 ft) mountain in a volcanic complex in the Cordillera Occidental in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality. Phasa Willk'i lies southwest of Asu Asuni and Turi Turini. The Jaruma River originates east of the mountain. It flows to the south.
Turi Turini is a mountain in a volcanic complex in the Cordillera Occidental in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,000-metre (16,404 ft) high. It is situated in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality. Turi Turini lies southeast of Asu Asuni and northeast of Phasa Willk'i. The Jaruma River originates southwest of the mountain. It flows to the south.
Wayna Chullunkhäni is a 4,736-metre-high (15,538 ft) mountain in the Cordillera Occidental in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality.
Ch'ankha Muqu is a dome in the Cordillera Occidental of Bolivia northeast of the Chullkani volcano. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality, southwest of Cosapa, near a place named Ch'ankha Muqu (Chanca Mokho, Changa Mokho). Its highest point at 18°11′26″S68°47′19″W reaches 4,126 m (13,537 ft).
Yapu Qullu is a dome in the Cordillera Occidental of Bolivia southeast of the summit of the Chullkani volcano. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality, east of the Sajama River and southwest of a plain named Titi Pampa. The peak of Yapu Qullu reaches a height of 4,148 m (13,609 ft).
Wichhu Qullu (Aymara jichu, wichhustipa ichu, qullu mountain, "ichu mountain", also named Wichukkollu Loma is a mountain in a volcanic field in the Cordillera Occidental of Bolivia northeast of the summit of the Chullkani volcano. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality, between Jach'a K'uchu in the northeast and Liyun Ikiña in the southwest. The peak of Wichhu Qullu reaches a height of approximately 4,040 m.
Jach'a K'uchu is a 4,508-metre-high (14,790 ft) mountain in a volcanic field in the Cordillera Occidental of Bolivia northeast of the Chullkani volcano. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality. Jach'a K'uchu is one of five mountains which belong to the so-called Jitiri Dome.
Liyun Ikiña or León Ikiña is a dome in the Cordillera Occidental of Bolivia north of the summit of the Chullkani volcano. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, Turco Municipality. Its peak reaches a height of 4,748 m (15,577 ft). South of Liyun Ikiña there is a small lake named Q'illu Quta. The stream which originates here is a left tributary of the Sajama River.
