Wheeler is a village in Jasper County, Illinois, United States. The population was 96 at the 2020 census. [3]
Wheeler is located in western Jasper County. Illinois Route 33 passes through the north side of the village, leading southeast 9 miles (14 km) to Newton, the county seat, and northwest 14 miles (23 km) to Effingham.
