YOHO Mall is a shopping centre in Yuen Long, New Territories, Hong Kong, near Light Rail Yuen Long stop and MTR Yuen Long station. It is part of Sun Hung Kai Properties's "Yoho" housing development. [1]
The YOHO Midtown mall was finished in October 2010. It was planned to be opened in 2013. However, after the completion of the second phase of YOHO, the developers hope to enhance the attractiveness of the shopping malls through the renovation of the nearby Sun Yuen Long Centre. According to the Rating and Valuation Department, this will attract several extra hundred million dollars of revenue in terms of rent. [2] Sun Hung Kai Properties announced that YOHO City Shopping Center will be combined with New Yuen Long Center Shopping Center to become a new YOHO development. The renovation of YOHO Midtown mall started on October 15, 2013.
The mall was designed by AGC Design. Part of its design was inspired by Tokyo Midtown as it uses similar materials such as grey mirrors and timber columns. Its atrium space includes four shops with an 8 metre tall ceiling providing generous retail estate, however the shopping mall lacks seating areas for customers and visitors.
Phase 1's area is 60 million square feet and has around 200 shops. It was hoped that there will be 150000 visitors to Phase I each day. Phase I has 1,500 parking spaces in its parking lot. The parking lot has six entrances.

Phase II was originally Sun Yuen Long Centre, completed in 1994. It has an area of 280,000 square feet and four floors (excluding basement). Phase II mainly has shops which sells fashion for women, cosmetics, accessories, sports equipment, and electronics as well as travel agencies.
YOHO Midtown has a 50,000 square feet green area called Midtown Garden. The 1st floor of the mall has an access passage to phase 1 and 3 and it is open for 24 hours. [4]
The external wall of YOHO MALL uses light-emitting diode which are turned on at night. Yuen Long residents have complained that this causes light pollution.
The International Commerce Centre is a 118-storey, 484 m (1,588 ft) commercial skyscraper completed in 2010 in West Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is a part of the Union Square project on top of Kowloon station. It was the 4th tallest building in the world when its construction was completed in late 2010. As of June 2019, it is the world's 12th tallest building by height, world's 9th tallest building by number of floors, as well as the tallest building in Hong Kong and also the 6th tallest building within China if territories are included.
Yuen Long is an MTR station in the north-eastern part of Yuen Long Town, New Territories, Hong Kong, on the Tuen Ma line between Kam Sheung Road and Long Ping. It is an interchange between the Tuen Ma line and Yuen Long stop of the Light Rail system.

apm is a large shopping mall in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong, which opened in July 2005. It is located within Millennium City 5, a commercial property developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties. Together with Millennium Cities 1, 2, 3, and 6, they are a group of commercial properties situated along Kwun Tong Road. apm is located next to the Kwun Tong station, with ten storeys and a total retail area of 600,000 square feet (56,000 m2). Underground hourly parking is also available.
Festival Walk is a shopping centre in Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong developed jointly by Swire Properties and CITIC Pacific between 1993 and 1998. At the time of its opening in November 1998, it was the biggest shopping mall in Hong Kong. Festival Walk is acquired by Mapletree North Asia Commercial Trust ("MNACT"). There are also four floors of offices on top of the mall.
New Town Plaza is a shopping mall in the town centre of Sha Tin, Hong Kong. Developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties, it was the biggest shopping centre in the New Territories when it was completed in the early 1980s. Covering 200,000 square metres, the plaza comprises Phase 1 and Phase 3, which are connected to each other, as well as the Grand Central Plaza, which is less than one kilometre from Phase 1. Phase 1 underwent extensive renovation from 2003 to 2008.

It is located in Kwai Fong, Hong Kong and is opposite to Kwai Fong station of MTR. The mall is a shopping hub of adjacent areas of Kwai Fong, Lai King, Tsing Yi and Kwai Chung. While Metroplaza provides spacious shopping environment, another shopping centre Kwai Chung Plaza adjoining offers varieties of small shops. The mall had undergone major renovation from 2014 to November 2017.

Olympian City is a shopping and residential complex built on reclaimed land in Tai Kok Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong, next to the MTR Olympic station. Sun Yuen Long Centre is a private housing estate and shopping centre in Yuen Long, New Territories, Hong Kong, above Light Rail Yuen Long stop and next to MTR West Rail line Yuen Long station. Starting on 1 September 2015, it become Yoho Mall II when at the same time opened a new shopping mall on the opposite called YOHO MALL I along Castle Peak Road. Kowloon City Plaza is a shopping centre located at Kowloon City, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was established in 1993, and it underwent a HK$100-million renovation from October 2005 to December 2006. The shopping centre re-opened on 26 January 2007.
Grand Central Plaza is a commercial development located near the town centre of Sha Tin, Hong Kong. It comprises two 16-storey office towers atop a multi-storey shopping podium called HomeSquare which specialises in home decor and furnishings. It is owned by Sun Hung Kai Properties, which also owns the nearby New Town Plaza, and was completed in 1995.
Mikiki is a shopping centre in San Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is owned by Sun Hung Kai Properties. Mikiki is directly connected to The Latitude, a private housing estate that was also developed by Sun Hung Kai Properties. Mikiki does not have a Chinese name, and its English name is based on the Japanese word for "knowledge". Mikiki covers an area of 200,000 square feet and has been opened to the general public since July 2011. Its official opening date was on 30 October that year. The mall is managed by Sun Hung Kai Properties and Hong Yip Service Co Ltd.
In late January 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic started to gain more concerns from the public due to its severity. In early February, consequently, the organizers announced to suspend the demonstrations. Alternatively, the protests over responses to the outbreak were held in various districts. The largest demonstrations besides the outbreak protests were to commemorate the July 21 Yuen Long attack and August 31 Prince Edward station attack, as well as the death of Chow Tsz-lok and Chan Yin-lam.
