The Zee Cine Awards 2019 ceremony celebrated the best of Indian Hindi-language films of 2018. The ceremony was held on 19 March 2019 at the MMDRA Ground at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai and broadcast on 31 March 2019 on Zee Cinema. [1] The main hosts of the event were Vicky Kaushal and Kartik Aaryan, while Malaika Arora and Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurana hosted a segment each. [2]

The Zee Cine Award for Best Actor – Male is chosen by the viewers of Zee Entertainment Enterprises as part of its annual award ceremony for Hindi films, to recognise a male actor who has delivered an outstanding performance in a leading role. Following its inception in 1998, a ceremony was not held in 2009 and 2010, but resumed back in 2011. Shah Rukh Khan, with seven awards holds the record of the maximum wins in this category.

Kriti Sanon is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Hindi films. She pursued an engineering degree from the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, after which she briefly worked as a model. After making her debut in Telugu cinema with the psychological thriller 1: Nenokkadine (2014), Sanon won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her performance in Sabbir Khan's action comedy Heropanti (2014), which marked her first Bollywood release.
Bhumi Pednekar is an Indian actress who appears in Hindi films. After working as an assistant casting director at Yash Raj Films for six years, Pednekar made her film debut as an overweight bride in the company's romantic comedy Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015), which earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.
Aparshakti Khurana is an Indian actor, radio jockey and a television host. He is the younger brother of actor Ayushmann Khurrana.
Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy drama film, directed by R.S. Prasanna and produced by Aanand L. Rai. Featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles, it is the remake of the director's own Tamil film Kalyana Samayal Saadham (2013). Released on 1 September 2017.
Andhadhun is a 2018 Indian black comedy crime thriller film co-written and directed by Sriram Raghavan, produced by Matchbox Pictures, and distributed by Viacom18 Motion Pictures. The film stars Tabu, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Radhika Apte, and tells the story of a blind piano player who unwittingly becomes embroiled in the murder of a former film actor.
Baadhaai Ho is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Surekha Sikri, and Sanya Malhotra, and tells the story of a middle-aged couple who get pregnant much to the disappointment of their adult son. The film is produced by Vineet Jain, Sharma, Hemant Bhandari and Aleya Sen under the banner of Junglee Pictures and Chrome Pictures, and is written by Shantanu Srivastava and Akshat Ghildial.The film was inspired by the 1994 Malayalam film Pavithram.
The 10th Mirchi Music Awards, presented by the Radio Mirchi, honoured the best music professionals of Hindi language Indian films of 2017. The ceremony was held on 28 January 2018 at the Dome @ National Sports Club of India, Mumbai and was hosted by Sonu Nigam. There were many performances, including those by Shreya Ghoshal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Javed Ali, Harshdeep Kaur and Neha Bhasin. A musical tribute was given to A. R. Rahman for completing his 25 years in the Indian cinema. Jab Harry Met Sejal won a leading five awards including Album of the Year and Song of the Year for "Hawayein". The show was broadcast on 18 March 2018 on Zee TV.
Article 15 is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language crime drama film co-written by Gaurav Solanki, written, produced and directed by Anubhav Sinha, and produced by Zee Studios. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Isha Talwar, Sayani Gupta, Veen Harsh and Sumbul Touqeer, and follows a police investigation that commences after three teenage girls go missing from a small village.
