The 2024 Utah State Treasurer election is scheduled to take place on November 5, 2024, to elect the next state treasurer of Utah. Incumbent Republican treasurer Marlo Oaks won a special election after David Damschen resigned. Oaks is running for a full term. [1]

The Utah Republican Party is the affiliate of the Republican Party in the U.S. state of Utah. It is currently the dominant party in the state, and has been for almost all of its history. It currently holds Utah's entire congressional delegation, all statewide executive offices, and supermajorities in both state legislative chambers.
The 1950 California gubernatorial election was held on November 7, 1950. For the last time, Warren was reelected governor in a landslide over the Democratic opponent, James Roosevelt, the son of President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
North Dakota held two statewide elections in 2016: a primary election on Tuesday, June 14, and a general election on Tuesday, November 8. As of 2024, this is the last time a Democrat was elected Governor of Utah; since Matheson left office in 1985, all of Utah's governors have been Republican. Matheson's victory was despite Republican presidential candidate Ronald Reagan and incumbent Republican Senator Jake Garn both winning over 70% of the vote in their respective races on the same ballot.

Marlo M. Oaks is an American investment banker and government official serving as the Utah state treasurer. He was appointed to the position by Governor Spencer Cox on June 29, 2021 and succeeded David Damschen.

He was challenged in the general election by former United States Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio Michael Crites. Cordray won in a landslide winning 56% of the vote to Crites' 38%.
