130 Colmore Row [1] is a Grade II listed building in the city centre of Birmingham,England. The building was built in 1903 as the main office for Alliance Assurance by architecture firm Goddard &Co. of Leicester. The building served as an office and banking hall for Alliance Assurance until the 1990s when it was bought by Birmingham City Council and became a tourist information office and later a careers centre. In 2013 the building was sold to a Chinese Investment Consortium who turned the vacant building into a restaurant named 'Nosh and Quaff'. As of 2019,It is now open as a Bar,Nightclub and Restaurant named 'Theatrix'.
The restaurant Nosh and Quaff opened in July 2015 after a £1 million internal fit out by Keane Design Associates. The restaurant is run by Aktar Islam's Lasan Group and specialises in lobster and beer. [2]

Paradise,formerly named Paradise Circus,is the name given to an area of approximately 7 hectares in Birmingham city centre between Chamberlain and Centenary Squares. The area has been part of the civic centre of Birmingham,England since the 19th century when it contained buildings such as the Town Hall,Mason Science College,Birmingham and Midland Institute buildings and Central Library. The site was redeveloped from 1960 to 1975 into the present Paradise Circus based within a roundabout on the Inner Ring Road system containing a new Central Library and School of Music. From 2015,Argent Group will redevelop the area into new mixed use buildings and public squares.

Princes House is an office and residential building in the centre of Brighton,part of the English coastal city of Brighton and Hove. The prominently sited building,an example of Harry Stuart Goodhart-Rendel's "inimitable response to Modernism",was purpose-built as the headquarters of the Brighton &Sussex Building Society,forerunner of the Alliance &Leicester. The office was later used by Norwich Union,another financial institution,and now houses a restaurant and flats. The steel-framed structure is clad in red bricks with inlaid mosaicwork,forming a carefully detailed façade,and the corner elevation has an arrangement of brickwork and windows which suggests "the pleated folds of a curtain". The building is listed at Grade II for its architectural and historical importance.
ZZ's Clam Bar was a seafood restaurant in New York City. The restaurant,run by Major Food Group,was on the same street as their restaurant Carbone. ZZ's Clam Bar received a Michelin star in 2014,and retained the rating until 2022. The restaurant closed in 2023.
