Wong Choong Hann is a former badminton player from Malaysia. He was the first Malaysian to win a medal in the men's singles event at the BWF World Championships. Currently he is the coaching director for the Malaysia national badminton team.

Flandy Limpele is an Indonesian former badminton player and coach. He competed in four Summer Olympic Games: Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, and Beijing 2008.

Ma Jin is a badminton player from China who specialises in women's and mixed doubles. She partnered Wang Xiaoli in women's doubles and excelled in the category until 2010 when both players are split after China failed to defend their Uber Cup against South Korea in Kuala Lumpur. Consequently, Ma Jin was unable to continue competing in the women's doubles event without her regular partner and she had to concentrate on mixed doubles instead. Ma Jin had tasted successes in mixed with several partners, notably Zheng Bo, He Hanbin and Xu Chen. Her domination at the front of the court combined with the power play from Xu Chen made them one of the most dominant Chinese pairs to date, the other being Zhang Nan and Zhao Yunlei.
Li Xuerui is a retired Chinese professional badminton player. She is one of the most successful players of her time. She was a gold medalist at 2012 London Olympics in the women's singles event and was the silver medalists in the 2013 and 2014 World Championships. Li Xuerui won fourteen Superseries titles, confirming her status as China's second most successful player after Wang Yihan. She reached a career high of no. 1 in the women's singles for 124 weeks. Li graduated with a BA from Huaqiao University.
Liew Daren is a Malaysian former badminton player. His biggest success throughout his career is having won the 2012 French Open Super Series. He reached a career high ranking of World No.10. He also represented Malaysia competed at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games and 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
Renuga Veeran is a Malaysian-born Australian badminton player. She has represented both Malaysia and Australia internationally as a badminton player. As part of the Australian Olympic Team, she paired with Leanne Choo and reached the quarter-finals in the women's doubles competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Lim Pek Siah is a Malaysian former badminton player, who now works as a national badminton coach. Lim had won the women's doubles silver medal at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur partnered with Chor Hooi Yee, also helped the team reach the final and clinch the silver medal. She made it to the women's doubles gold medal in 2002 Manchester with Ang Li Peng. She started her career as the women's doubles national coach in 2015.
Chor Hooi Yee is a Malaysian former badminton player. Chor was the women's doubles silver medalist at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur partnered with Lim Pek Siah, also helped the team reach the final and clinch the silver medal. Teamed-up with Chew Choon Eng in the mixed doubles, they claimed the gold medal at the 1999 Southeast Asian Games in Brunei. She previously left the Badminton Association of Malaysia due to nagging injuries and her studies in 2001, and in 2004 she made a comeback to the national squad. Chor educated business in HELP University. She now works as an executive committee member of Cheras club.
Yuliani Santosa is an Indonesian retired badminton player. She won the 1991 Asian Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
