The 1991 FIBA Under-19 World Championship (French: Championnat du monde des moins de 19 ans 1991 de la FIBA) was the 4th edition of the FIBA U19 World Championship. It was held in Edmonton, Canada from 26 July to 4 August 1991. The United States won their third championship in the tournament, after beating Italy in overtime 90–85 in the final. [1] Dejan Bodiroga of Yugoslavia was named the tournament MVP, despite their team losing the bronze medal game against Argentina. [2]

The tournament was hosted by Mali from 18 to 27 August, with games played at Bamako. The winners and runners-up qualified for the 2018 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup.

The 2017 FIBA Women's Asia Cup was the qualifying tournament for FIBA Asia and FIBA Oceania at the 2018 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup in Spain. The tournament was held from 23 to 29 July in Bangalore, India. Before this edition, the tournament was known as the FIBA Asia Championship for Women, and only involved FIBA Asia members. FIBA Oceania teams Australia and New Zealand, as well as Fiji competed in the tournament for the first time.

The 2017 FIBA Asia Under-16 Championship for Women was the qualifying tournament for FIBA Asia at the 2018 FIBA Under-17 World Championship for Women. Originally slated to be held at Hyderabad, the tournament venue was moved and held in Bengaluru, India from October 22 to 28.

The 1987 FIBA Under-19 World Championship was the 3rd edition of the FIBA U19 World Championship. It was held in Bormio, Italy from 29 July to 5 August 1987. Yugoslavia won their first and only U19 championship representing Yugoslavia, after beating the defending champions United States 86–76 in the final. Toni Kukoč was named the tournament MVP.

The 2018 FIBA U18 Women's Asian Championship was the qualifying tournament for FIBA Asia at the 2019 FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup. The tournament, which was also the 24th edition of the biennial competition, was held in Bangalore, India from 28 October to 3 November. The top four teams qualified and will represent FIBA Asia in the 2019 FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup in Thailand.

The 2018 FIBA U18 Women's African Championship was the 15th edition, played under the rules of FIBA, the world governing body for basketball, and the FIBA Africa thereof. The tournament was hosted by Mozambique from August 10 to 19, 2018 in Maputo.

The 2019 FIBA Under-16 Women's Americas Championship was an international basketball competition held in Puerto Aysén, Chile from 16–22 June 2019. It was the sixth edition of the FIBA Under-16 Women's Americas Championship, and the first to be hosted in Chile.

The 2019 FIBA U20 Women's European Championship was the 15th edition of the Women's European basketball championship Division B for national under-20 teams. Held from 3 to 11 August in Pristina, Kosovo, 12 teams participated in the tournament.

The 1995 FIBA Under-19 World Championship was the 5th edition of the FIBA U19 World Championship. It was held in multiple cities in Greece, from 12 to 22 July 1995. Host country Greece, won their first, championship in the tournament, after going undefeated and beating Australia, 91-73 in the Gold Medal Game. Spain notched their first-ever podium finish, after defeating Croatia 77-64 in the Bronze Medal Game. Efthimios Rentzias of Greece, was named the tournament MVP.

The 2021 FIBA Women's Asia Cup Division A was the 29th edition of the tournament, held from 27 September to 3 October 2021 in Amman, Jordan. The tournament was originally set to be hosted by India. It served as the Asian and Oceanian qualification for the 2022 FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup in Australia, where the top four teams qualified for one of the qualifying tournaments.

The 2020 FIBA U18 Women's African Championship was the 15th edition, played under the rules of FIBA, the world governing body for basketball, and the FIBA Africa thereof. The tournament was hosted by Egypt from December 3 to 9, 2020 in Cairo.

The 2022 FIBA U18 Women's Asian Championship was the qualifying tournament for FIBA Asia at the 2023 FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup. The tournament, which was also the 25th edition of the biennial competition, was held in Bangalore, India from 5 to 11 September. The top four teams qualified and will represent FIBA Asia in the 2023 FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup in Spain.
