The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends is an American animated television series that originally aired from November 19, 1959 to June 27, 1964, on the ABC and NBC television networks.
"Homer's Odyssey" is the third episode of The Simpsons. It originally aired on the Fox Network in the United States on January 21, 1990. In this episode, Homer becomes a crusader for safety in Springfield and is promoted to safety inspector at Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. The episode was written by Jay Kogen and Wallace Wolodarsky and was the first Simpsons script to be completed, although it was the third episode produced.

Conceived by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, it was initially intended as a one-shot, but due to its popularity it became an ongoing series. The comic created the Turtles franchise of five television series, six feature films, numerous video games, and a range of toys and merchandise.
