California Storm is an American women's soccer team, founded in 1995 as the Sacramento Storm, before changing its name the following season. The team plays in the North Division of the Pacific Conference in the WPSL and in the NorCal Division for the USL W League. The team was a founding member of the W-League, then left in 1998 to become one of the founding teams of the WPSL. It returned in 2022 and will field a team in both leagues.

Denver Diamonds was an American women's soccer team, founded in 1996. In its debut season the team won its USL W-League conference, then finished second four years in succession, before folding after the 2000 season. The team was later a member of the Women's Premier Soccer League, the second tier of women's soccer in the United States and Canada. Starting play in the 2002 season, they went on hiatus in 2005, then folded again after the 2009 season.

The 2012 Women's Premier Soccer League season is the 16th season of the WPSL. 2012 saw the formation of two new leagues within the WPSL structure: the WPSL Elite League and a U-20 League.

The 2012 WPSL Elite season was the only season of the WPSL Elite, an upper-level division of the WPSL, one of America's two semi-pro leagues. The regular season consisted of fourteen matches per team in a double-round-robin format, played between May 10 and July 22. The regular season was followed by a playoff series.

The 2013 Women's Premier Soccer League season is the 17th season of the WPSL.

United Women's Soccer is a second-division pro-am women's soccer league in the United States. The league was founded in 2015 as a response to the dual problems of disorganization in the WPSL and of the folding of the original USL W-League. The league began play in May 2016 with eleven teams in two conferences. The first league currently has 45 teams in 6 conferences and second league currently has 49 teams in 6 conferences.

Florida Tropics SC is a professional soccer club based in Lakeland, Florida. They are owned by Central Florida Sports Ventures, LLC, led by Dr. Panos Iakovidis, and former USL commissioner and Rochester Rhinos owner Chris Economides. The organization was originally founded in 2015 as a team in the Major Arena Soccer League before expanding into other leagues.

The 2018 WPSL season is the 22nd season of the Women's Premier Soccer League. The Central Conference consists of 4 sections.

Real Central New Jersey is a soccer club from Trenton, New Jersey, United States, founded in 2020. The club's men's First Team competes in the Mid-Atlantic Division of USL League Two, and began playing in the 2021 season. The women's team participates in the Women's Premier Soccer League.
