The 2009 WPS Bathurst 12 Hour was an endurance race for Group 3E Series Production Cars. [1] It was the seventh running of the Bathurst 12 Hour, and the third since the races 2007 revival.
The race was won by defending champions, Rod Salmon's TMR Australia car driven by Salmon, Damien White and new team member, Tony Longhurst in an upgraded Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution.
The event was staged at the Mount Panorama Circuit, Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia on 22 February 2009 with cars competing in the following classes:

The Holden Gemini is a compact car that was produced by Holden and sold in Australasia from 1975 to 1987. It was based on the Japanese Isuzu Gemini, one of the many models based on the GM T-car platform.
The Holden Dealer Team (HDT) was Holden's semi-official racing team from 1969 until 1986, primarily contesting Australian Touring Car events but also rallying, rallycross and Sports Sedan races during the 1970s. From 1980 the Holden Dealer Team, by then under the ownership of Peter Brock, diversified into producing modified road-going Commodores and other Holden cars for selected dealers via HDT Special Vehicles.
The Bathurst 12 Hour, currently known as the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour for sponsorship reasons, is an annual endurance race for GT and production cars held at the Mount Panorama Circuit, in Bathurst, Australia. The race was first held in 1991 for Series Production cars and moved to Sydney's Eastern Creek Raceway in 1995 before being discontinued. The race was revived in 2007, again for production cars, before adding a new class for GT3 and other GT cars in 2011. This has led to unprecedented domestic and international exposure for the event. In all, twenty one races have taken place; twenty at Mount Panorama and one at Eastern Creek Raceway.

The 1963 Armstrong 500 was the fourth running of the Armstrong 500 touring car race. It was held on 6 October 1963. After the 1962 race, the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit was too damaged to continue to stage the race, forcing it to move to a new location, the Mount Panorama Circuit just outside Bathurst with a new organising club, the Australian Racing Drivers Club. The race was open to standard production sedans with four classes based on the purchase price of the vehicle.

It was the 24th manufacturers title to be awarded by CAMS and the 15th to be contested under the Australian Manufacturers' Championship name. The championship was open to Group 3E Series Production Cars. Mitsubishi ended the season as champions, beating other manufacturers Toyota and Subaru.

The event, which was staged at the Mount Panorama Circuit, Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia on 14 February 2010, was the eighth running of the Bathurst 12 Hour, and the fourth since the race was revived in 2007. It was also Round 1 of the 2010 Australian Manufacturers' Championship.
The 2009 Australian Production Car Championship was a CAMS sanctioned motor racing title for drivers of Group 3E Series Production Cars. It was the 16th Australian Production Car Championship title to be awarded by CAMS. As well as claiming the Class A2 title, Garry Holt won the overall championship in his BMW 335i. Holt held off Class A1 champion Rod Salmon by just two points in the overall standings. Other class champions were Jake Camilleri in his Mazda 3 MPS and Stuart Jones' Toyota Celica.
The Ford Focus (third generation), also known as the Focus Mk III, (Code name: C346) debuted at the 2010 North American International Auto Show as a 2012 model. The ninth-generation Honda Civic is a range of compact cars (C-segment) manufactured by Honda between 2011 and 2017, replacing the eighth-generation Civic. It was launched in the North American market in April 2011, Europe in February 2012 and Asia-Pacific in early 2012. Four body styles were introduced throughout its production run, which are sedan, coupe, hatchback and a station wagon version marketed as the Civic Tourer. The latter two makes up for the European-market Civic range, which was produced in Swindon, United Kingdom, and received a completely different design and smaller exterior size. The hatchback version forms a basis for a Civic Type R (FK2) model, which was released later in 2015.

The 2007 WPS Bathurst 12 Hour was an Australian endurance race for Production Cars, held over a twelve-hour period starting from 5:45am on 8 April 2007 at the Mount Panorama Circuit, Bathurst, New South Wales. It was the fifth Bathurst 12 Hour race and the first to be staged since 1994. It was also the opening round of the 2007 Australian Production Car Championship.
The Mercedes-Benz W222 is the sixth generation of the S-Class produced from 2013 to 2020, the successor of the W221 S-Class and the predecessor of the W223 S-Class. The W222 was designed during 2009. The original design proposal of the car was created by Il-hun Yoon, a Korean designer, who was inspired by the Mercedes-Benz F700 concept car. The exterior design was developed by a team of designers under the direction of Robert Lešnik. W222 has a similar design theme to the C-Class (W205) and E-Class (W213).
The fourth generationFord Focus, also known as the Focus Mk IV, is a small family car which has been produced by Ford from 2018. It was revealed in April 2018 to replace the third-generation Focus. As in the previous generation, the model is available with saloon, hatchback and estate body styles. This generation marked the demise of the Focus line-up in many regions, including North America, South America, and Southeast Asia, effectively limiting its market reach to just Europe, China, Taiwan, Australasia, and other minor markets.
