A municipal election took place in Chile on 28 October 2012. The newly elected mayors and councilmen will begin their term on 6 December 2012.

Contents

This was the first election carried out under a new law in which all potential voters were automatically enrolled and in which voting was made voluntary.

Gundlupet Assembly constituency is one of the 244 electoral constituencies that form the Karnataka Legislative Assembly in the south-Indian state of Karnataka. The constituency was formed in 1957 after Mysore State was reorganized as the result of States Reorganisation Act, 1956. As of 2016, thirteen elections have been held in the constituency for electing the Member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly and only three candidates have been elected. While K. S. Nagarathanamma won the first election of 1957, she went on to be elected six more times. H. K. Shivarudrappa won in 1978 and since 1994 H. S. <span class="mw-page-title-main">2019 Bolivian general election</span> General election in Bolivia

General elections were held in Bolivia on 20 October 2019. Voters elected all 130 members of the Chamber of Deputies and 36 senators and cast ballots for a joint slate of president and vice president. The Bolivian constitution allows the President and Vice-President to put themselves forward for re-election only once, limiting the number of terms to two, and the elections took place after in 2016 a referendum to amend the constitution was rejected, but that the Supreme Court of Justice ruled that all public offices would have no term limits despite what was established in the constitution and allowing Morales to run for a fourth term.

Foreign electoral district of Ukraine — electoral district, which unites electoral precincts, that are situated outside the territory of Ukraine, and which comprises all polling station located inside embassies and consulates of Ukraine and inside military bases abroad, where there are Ukrainian peacekeeping contingents. The responsibilities of district election commission for the Foreign electoral district are carried out by the Central Election Commission. In this district only nationwide votings are held, i.e. presidential and parliamentary elections, as well as nationwide referendums. Local elections are not held there.

The 5th Kollam Municipal Corporation council election was held on 8 December 2020 and the result announced on 16 December. LDF won 39 seats, UDF fronts won 9 seats, NDA won 6 seats and others won 1 seat. CPI(M) lead LDF won the majority to rule

Parliamentary elections were held in Iraq on 10 October 2021. The elections decide the 329 members of the Council of Representatives who will in turn elect the Iraqi president and confirm the prime minister. 25 million voters are eligible to take part in Iraq's fifth parliamentary election since the 2003 US-led invasion and the first since the 2019 Iraqi October Revolution. The election result led to the 2021 Baghdad clashes.
