The 2013 Tippeligaen was the 69th completed season of top division football in Norway. The competition began 15 March 2013 and ended on 10 November 2013, when Strømsgodset defeated Haugesund 4–0 to win their second league title.
The 2012 season is Aalesund's 6th consecutive year in Tippeligaen, it was Kjetil Rekdal's fourth full season as the club's manager. Aalesunds competed in the Tippeligaen, finishing 11th and the 2012 Norwegian Football Cup, where they were knocked out at the Fourth Round stage by Sandefjord. They also competed in the 2012–13 UEFA Europa League qualifying stages, defeating Tirana of Albania in the Second Round and then losing to APOEL of Cyprus in the Third Round.
The 2013 season was Vålerenga's 12th season back in the Tippeligaen since their promotion in 2000. It is their first season with Kjetil Rekdal as manager and they finished the season in 11th place in the Tippeligaen and they reached the Quarter-finals of the cup losing to Rosenborg.
The 2013 season was Odd 5th consecutive year in Tippeligaen. It is Dag-Eilev Fagermo's sixth season as the club's manager. Odd also competed in the 2013 Norwegian Football Cup reaching the fourth round where they were knocked out by Bodø/Glimt.
The 2014 season is Rosenborg's 24th consecutive year in Tippeligaen, their 47th season in the top flight of Norwegian football and second season with Per Joar Hansen as manager. They will participate in Tippeligaen, the Cup and the 2014–15 UEFA Europa League, entering at the First qualifying round stage.
The 2014 season is Lillestrøm's 38th consecutive year in Tippeligaen and their third with Magnus Haglund as manager.
The 2014 season was Stabæk's first season back in the Tippeligaen following their relegation in 2012, their 18th season in the top flight of Norwegian football and their first season with Bob Bradley as their manager. They finished the season in 9th place whilst also reaching the Semifinals of the Norwegian Cup where they were beaten by eventual winners Molde.
The 2014 season was Aalesund's eight consecutive season in the Tippeligaen, and their second season was with Jan Jönsson as their manager. They finished the season in 7th position, and reached the Fourth round of the Norwegian Cup, where they were defeated by Lillestrøm.
The 2013 season was Sarpsborg 08's 2nd season in Tippeligaen, following their promotion back to the top level in 2012. It was also their first season with Brian Deane as the club's manager. Sarpsborg 08 competed in the Tippeligaen, finishing 14th, entering the Relegation play-offs in which they defeated Ranheim 3-0 over two legs. They also competed in the cup where they reached the Second Round, losing to Kvik Halden of the 2. divisjon.
The Bodø/Glimt 2014 season was Bodø/Glimt's first season back in the Tippeligaen since their relegation at the end of the 2009 season. Bodø/Glimt finished the season in 13th place and where knocked out of the Norwegian Cup by Stabæk in the Fourth Round.
The 2014 season was FK Haugesund's 5th season back in the Tippeligaen since their promotion in 2009 and their 6th season with Jostein Grindhaug as manager. They finished the season in 11th position, were eliminated at the Quarter-finals stage of the Norwegian Cup by Stabæk and reached Second qualifying round of the Europa League where they were defeated by FK Sarajevo.
The 2014 season is Brann's 28th season in the Tippeligaen since their promotion in 1987, and their first season with Rikard Norling as manager. Brann will compete in the Tippeligaen and the Norwegian Cup.
Odds Ballklubb, commonly known as Odd, is a Norwegian football club from Skien. Originally the football section of a multi-sports club, founded in 1894 nine years after the club's founding. All other sports than football were discontinued and the club became dedicated to football only. Odd plays in the Norwegian top division, Tippeligaen, and holds the record winning the Norwegian Football Cup the most times, the last coming in 2000. The club was known as Odd Grenland between 1994 and 2012. During the 2014/15 the club will be participating in the Tippeliean and NM Cupen.
Vålerenga Fotball is a Norwegian association football club from Oslo. They play their home games at Ullevaal Stadion which has a capacity of 28,972. During the 2014/15 campaign they will compete in the following competitions: Tippeligean, NM Cupen.

Start competed in the Tippeligaen and, finishing 12th, and the Norwegian Cup, where they were knocked out at the Fourth Round by Sarpsborg 08.
The 2014 season was Sogndal's fourth consecutive season in the Tippeligaen. They finished the season in 15th place, being relegated to the OBOS-ligaen, whilst also reaching the Fourth Round of the Norwegian Cup where they were beaten by Viking.
