The 2015 season is Sarpsborg 08's 4th season in Tippeligaen, following their return to the top level in 2012. It is also their first season with Geir Bakke as the club's manager.
The 2016 season is Strømsgodset's tenth season back in the Tippeligaen since their relegation at the end of the 2001 season.
Odds Ballklubb, commonly known as Odd, is a Norwegian football club from Skien. Originally the football section of a multi-sports club, founded in 1894 nine years after the club's founding. All other sports than football were discontinued and the club became dedicated to football only. Odd plays in the Norwegian top division, Tippeligaen, and holds the record winning the Norwegian Football Cup the most times, the last coming in 2000. The club was known as Odd Grenland between 1994 and 2012. During the 2016 season the club will be participating in the Tippeliean, NM Cupen and UEFA Europa League.

The 2016 season is Tromsø's second season back in the Tippeligaen following their relegation in 2013, their 29th season in the top flight of Norwegian football and their first season with Bård Flovik as their manager.
The 2017 season is Rosenborg's 38th consecutive year in the top flight now known as Eliteserien, their 50th season in the top flight of Norwegian football and third season with Kåre Ingebrigtsen as permanent manager. They will participate in Eliteserien, the Cup, Mesterfinalen and the 2017–18 UEFA Champions League, entering at the Second qualifying round stage. They qualified for the group stage of the 2017–18 UEFA Europa League. This year will mark Rosenborg's 100th anniversary, an event that will be marked with the game against Lillestrøm on 20 May, one day after the 100th anniversary.
The 2017 season will be Stabæk's fourth season back in the Eliteserien following their relegation in 2012, their 21st season in the top flight of Norwegian football. Stabæk finished the previous season in fourteenth place and survived the relegation play-offs against FK Jerv.
Vålerenga Fotball is a Norwegian association football club from Oslo. They play their home games at Ullevaal Stadion which has a capacity of 28,972. During the 2017 campaign they competed in Eliteserien and the Norwegian Cup.
The 2017 season was Viking's 29th consecutive year in Eliteserien, and their 68th season in the top flight of Norwegian football.

The 2020 season is Rosenborg's 41st consecutive year in the top flight now known as Eliteserien, their 53rd season in the top flight of Norwegian football. They will participate in Eliteserien, the Cup and Europa League entering at the First Qualifying round. The end of the pre-season and the start of the season were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After two months, the season was confirmed to start 16 June, with full training starting from 7 May. This was Eirik Horneland's second season as Rosenborg manager, but he was let go after only 3 matches. Trond Henriksen took over as interim manager until Åge Hareide was appointed new manager. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic only 200 fans were allowed in the stadiums the first 20 rounds, while 600 fans were allowed in the remaining 10 rounds.
