Andy Ram and Vera Zvonareva defeated Bob Bryan and Venus Williams in the final, 6–3, 6–2 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2006 Wimbledon Championships.
Samantha Stosur and Scott Draper defeated Liezel Huber and Kevin Ullyett in the final 6–2, 2–6, [10–6] to win the mixed doubles title at the 2005 Australian Open. This was the first Grand Slam title for both Stosur and Draper, and would be Draper's only Grand Slam title.

Chan Hao-ching, also known as Angel Chan, is a Taiwanese professional tennis player. She is primarily a doubles specialist, having won 18 WTA, 2 WTA Challenger and 6 ITF titles in that discipline. Chan reached the final of the mixed-doubles competition at Wimbledon with Max Mirnyi in 2014, her first Grand Slam final. She reached two more finals in 2017, the Wimbledon women's doubles with Monica Niculescu, and the US Open mixed doubles with Michael Venus. She is the younger sister of fellow professional tennis player and former world No. 1 in women's doubles, Latisha Chan, formerly known as Chan Yung-jan.
Jonathan Marray and Frederik Nielsen were the defending champions, but decided not to play together. Marray played alongside Colin Fleming but lost to Robert Lindstedt and Daniel Nestor in the third round. Nielsen paired with Grigor Dimitrov but they lost to Julien Benneteau and Nenad Zimonjić in the second round.
Mike Bryan and Lisa Raymond were the defending champions, but Bryan decided not to compete to focus on winning the Men's doubles with his brother Bob. Raymond partnered with Bruno Soares.

Hlaváčková played alongside Alexander Peya, but lost in the second round to Taylor Townsend and Donald Young. Mirnyi teamed up with Chan Hao-ching, but lost in the second round to Ashleigh Barty and John Peers.
Nenad Zimonjić and Samantha Stosur were the defending champions, but Stosur chose not to participate this year. Zimonjić played alongside Jarmila Gajdošová, but lost in the third round to Robert Lindstedt and Anabel Medina Garrigues.
Henri Kontinen and Heather Watson defeated Robert Farah and Anna-Lena Grönefeld in the final, 7–6(7–5), 6–4 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2016 Wimbledon Championships. Kontinen became the first Finn to win a major title, while Watson became the first British woman to win the title since Jo Durie in 1987.
Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková defeated Nicole Melichar and Květa Peschke in the final, 6–4, 4–6, 6–0 to win the ladies' doubles tennis title at the 2018 Wimbledon Championships. They became the first team to win the Channel Slam since Kim Clijsters and Ai Sugiyama in 2003, and the first team to win both the Wimbledon junior and senior doubles titles together.
Women's doubles were played at the 2019 Dubai Tennis Championships at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The women's tournament took place from 17 to 23 February. Chan Hao-ching and Yang Zhaoxuan were the defending champions, but chose to participate with different partners. Chan played alongside her sister Latisha, but they lost in the semifinals to Hsieh Su-wei and Barbora Strýcová. Yang partnered Abigail Spears, but lost in the first round to Eugenie Bouchard and Sofia Kenin.
Tímea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic defeated Duan Yingying and Zheng Saisai in the final, 6–2, 6–3 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2019 French Open.
Hsieh Su-wei and Barbora Strýcová defeated Gabriela Dabrowski and Xu Yifan in the final, 6−2, 6−4 to win the ladies' doubles tennis title at the 2019 Wimbledon Championships. With the win, Strýcová attained the WTA no. 1 doubles ranking for the first time – Kristina Mladenovic, Elise Mertens and Ashleigh Barty were also in contention for the top ranking. Hsieh and Strýcová won the title without losing a set during the tournament.
Tímea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic defeated Hsieh Su-wei and Barbora Strýcová in the final, 6–2, 6–1 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2020 Australian Open. It was their second Australian Open title together. Despite the loss, Hsieh regained the WTA no. 1 doubles ranking for the first time since 2014, replacing her partner Strýcová. Mladenovic, Aryna Sabalenka and Xu Yifan were also in contention for the top ranking.
Defending champion Hsieh Su-wei and her partner, Elise Mertens, defeated Veronika Kudermetova and Elena Vesnina in the final, 3–6, 7–5, 9–7, to win the ladies' doubles tennis title at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships. The pair saved two championship points en route to their first major title together.
