Pre-season and friendlies

During pre-season Iraklis trained in Karpenisi and arranged friendly matches versus PAS Giannina, Panetolikos and Levadiakos. [20] Iraklis agreed to play a friendly match with Italian Serie A club Fiorentina. [21] The match was agreed to be held at Stadio Mariotti in Montecatini Terme on 15 August. [21]

The 2009–10 season was Panathinaikos' 51st consecutive season in Super League Greece. The 2009–10 season was very successful for Panathinaikos. At the summer transfer window the club bought Djibril Cissé from Marseille, Kostas Katsouranis from Benfica, Sebastian Leto from Liverpool and various other players spending more than €35 million. The team managed to enter the final 16 of Europa League and win the Greek Championship. Panathinaikos completed the domestic double by winning the Greek Cup final.

The 2013–14 season was the Panathinaikos' 55th consecutive season in Super League Greece.

Aris Thessaloniki competed in the Super League. They started their Greek campaign after finishing 13th in last season's league and will enter the Greek Football Cup in the fourth round.

In season 2014–15, Veria will compete in the following competitions Super League and Greek Cup.

The 2014–15 season was Ergotelis' 85th season in existence, 9th season in the Super League Greece, and the second consecutive season in the top tier since the club's latest promotion from the Football League. Ergotelis also participated in the Greek cup, entering the competition in the Second Round. After a turbulent season, with many managerial changes, player transfers, multiple matches being postponed in mid-season and competitors withdrawing from the league, Ergotelis was relegated after finishing in 16th place during the regular season. The club ultimately was placed in 15th place post-season, after Kerkyra was relegated for illegal transfer of shares. Kerkyra was given the last position of the league table, while Ergotelis' relegation status remained unchanged.

Season 2015–16 is the 16th of Veria in Super League Greece. Veria will compete in the following competitions Super League and Greek Cup. The season covers the period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2016.

The 2015–16 season was the 92nd season in the existence of AEK Athens F.C. and the 55th season in the top flight of Greek football. They competed in the Super League and the Greek Cup. The season began on 22 August 2015 and finished on 31 May 2016.

The 2015–16 Panathinaikos season was the club's 57th consecutive season in the Super League Greece. They will also compete in the Greek Cup. Qualifying rounds will determine whether the club will compete in the UEFA Champions League or the UEFA Europa League.

The 2016–17 season was the 93rd season in the existence of AEK Athens F.C. and the 56th competitive season and second consecutive in the top flight of Greek football. They competed in the Super League, the Greek Cup and the 2016–17 UEFA Europa League. The season began on 28 July 2016 and finished on 31 May 2017.

The 2016–17 season was Olympiacos's 58th consecutive season in the Super League Greece and their 91st year in existence. The club become the national champions for 7th consecutive year, equalizing the previous record Olympiacos also has for the period 1997–2003 – and for 19th time during the last 21 seasons. Olympiacos participated in the UEFA Europa League and in the Greek Football Cup.

The 2016–17 season is PAS Giannina's 6th consecutive season in the Super League Greece and their 51st year in existence. They also took part in the UEFA Europa League. PAS Giannina qualified for the third qualifying round after beating Norwegian club Odd, they eventually disqualified, after losing to Dutch club AZ. It was the first time that PAS Giannina participated in the qualification process of a European competition organised by UEFA.

The 2017–18 season is PAS Giannina F.C.'s 23rd competitive season in the top flight of Greek football, 8th season in the Super League Greece, and 52nd year in existence as a football club. They also compete in the Greek Cup.
