The 2018Abu Dhabi T10 (formerly known as the 2018 T10 League) was the second season of the Abu Dhabi T10. [1] The matches had a 10-over-a-side format with a time duration of 90 minutes. The tournament was played as a round robin followed by semifinals and the final. It was played from 21 November to 2 December 2018 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Three new teams, Sindhis, Rajputs and Northern Warriors, joined the tournament with the exclusion of Team Sri Lanka from last season. [1]

Contents

Before the start of the tournament, Karachians changed their name to Sindhis after a Pakistan court order had objected to their title, citing a clash of identity with the Pakistan Super League team Karachi Kings. [2]

The Peshawar Zalmi is a franchise cricket team that represents Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The franchise won the tournament in 2017. The team was coached by Daren Sammy, and captained by Wahab Riaz.

The Pakistan Junior League (PJL) was a professional 20-over cricket league contested by Under-19 teams representing different cities of Pakistan. The league was soft-launched on 14 April 2022 by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Ramiz Raja. The only installment, the 2022 Pakistan Junior League, was played from 6–21 October 2022, featuring six teams and 19 games, at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. It featured six teams playing 19 games in a round robin league format, at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. It was the first international league to exclusively consist of junior cricketers. Bahawalpur Royals beat Gwadar Sharks in the final on 21 October and became the inaugural and only champions of the PJL. The league was dissolved in December 2022.

The 2022 FairBreak Invitational T20 was a women's Twenty20 cricket competition which took place from 4 to 15 May 2022 in Dubai. The tournament, sanctioned by the ICC, was privately-run by FairBreak Global, a company that aims to promote gender equality. Players from 35 countries were spread across six teams. The tournament was won by Tornadoes, who beat Falcons in the final by 8 wickets.

The 2022 Women's Caribbean Premier League, known for sponsorship reasons as the Massy WCPL 2022, was the inaugural edition of the Women's Caribbean Premier League, a domestic Twenty20 women's cricket tournament played in the West Indies. The tournament took place from 31 August to 4 September 2022, with all matches played in Saint Kitts. The tournament was preceded by a T10 tournament, known as The 6ixty. The tournament was won by Trinbago Knight Riders.

The 2022 Abu Dhabi T10 was the sixth season of the Abu Dhabi T10. The matches had a 10-over-a-side format with a time duration of 90 minutes. The tournament was played from 23 November to 4 December 2022 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium.

The 2023 Abu Dhabi T10 was the seventh season of the Abu Dhabi T10. The matches had a 10-over-a-side format with a time duration of 90 minutes. The tournament was played from 28 November to 9 December 2023 at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium. Deccan Gladiators were the defending champions, having claiming their second title in the final of the previous edition.

The 2023 Zim Afro T10 was the inaugural season of the Zim Afro T10. The tournament was played from 21 to 29 July at the Harare Sports Club. In the final, Durban Qalandars defeated Joburg Buffaloes by eight wickets to win the inaugural title.

The 2024 International League T20 was the second season of the International League T20, a professional Twenty20 cricket league in the United Arab Emirates, organised by the Emirates Cricket Board. The tournament was played from 19 January 2024 and the final was held on 17 February 2024. Gulf Giants were the defending champions. The matches were granted List A status by the ICC for fielding less domestic players as stipulated.

The 2023 edition is the inaugural season for the International League T20 franchise Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. They are one of the six teams competing in the 2023 International League T20.
