The 2019 Campeonato Ecuatoriano de Fútbol Serie A was the 61st season of the Serie A, Ecuador's top tier football league, and the first under the management of the Liga Profesional de Fútbol del Ecuador. LDU Quito were the defending champions, but were defeated in the finals by Delfín following a scoreless draw on aggregate score after two legs and a penalty shootout, in which the latter team won their first league title.

Federico Sebastián Viñas Barboza is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga MX club León and the Uruguay national team.

The 2019 season was Barcelona Sporting Club's 94th season in existence and the club's 61st season in the top flight of Ecuadorian football. Barcelona was involved in three competitions: the main national tournament Liga Pro, the national cup called Copa Ecuador, and the international tournament Copa Libertadores.

The 2021 Copa CONMEBOL Libertadores de Futsal was the 20th edition of the Copa Libertadores de Futsal, South America's premier club futsal tournament organized by CONMEBOL. The tournament was held in Florida, Uruguay between 16–22 May 2021.
